LEGO Universe, even if it fails live up to my insane expectations of what a LEGO MMO could be like under the perfect conditions, is destined to be a hit. This isn't a MEGA Bloks game, so there's name recognition, and the potential target audience is absolutely massive.
The boys at Rock, Paper, Shotgun stumbled across the first images for the game, which can be seen here. As they point out, the shots themselves look to be more conceptual than indicative of what the end product will be, but it's nice to have an idea of what to expect from LEGO Universe.
I've never been traditionally into MMOs, but there's just something about adding LEGOs into the mix that appeals to me greatly. Anyone else interested in seeing more?
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.
