Hudson threatened by wannabe Bomberman photo

A Japanese man has been arrested for a most ironic crime -- threatening to blow up Bomberman developer Hudson. 29-year-old Takao Ike was apparently so dismayed at the recent quality of Hudson titles, he felt the only way to get some good games out of the studio was to issue death threats.

"I did it because I posted my demands concerning the games, but the games didn't improve," confesses the suspect.

From October 2008 to January 16 2009, Ike made eleven threats, threatening to kill everyone with his bomb and even demanding a ransom of 80 million yen, to be left for collection at JR Takamatsu Station.

In other news, if I don't get a decent Sonic game, I am going to slit the throat of everyone at Sonic Team and lick their blood off the floor while mewing like a cat. Just saying.

You're in the You Ess of Eh now Jim. They take those jokes seriously over there. I'm sure that Homeland security will be kicking in your door shortly to arrest you for ruining the American dream.

Upset that Hudson games were sucky, a man threatens to blow up HQ in the hopes of improving game quality. In the building that is now a smoldering husk. Right. Someone didn't think this one through.

Yeah most people think they have a good idea but never really think it trough MegaStryke. That's the problem with most idiots. they never really think it though.

I now hope to be one day a game developer and have people issue me death threats only to find out that they got thrown into jail.

You know, I just got an awesome idea for a tshirt with a picture of Bomberman on it that says "Don't Support Terrorism" or something like that.

In this fear mongering post-9/11 world, Bomberman could and should so be the iconic terrorist mascot. I don't know why we didn't see it before.

Y'know, I'm fairly sure that murdering and cannabailising (vampirising?) the Sonic team would be more fun than actually playing the games they make.

This guy should now be a downloadable character for Bomberman Live!

With no sign of the rest of the Super Bomberman series appearing on Virtual Console, this guy has every right to want to off some people.
