Hudson's Creature Defense is a go for PSP, PSPgo photo

I'm a sucker for any game with cards in it. Name it, and I've dug it. That crap DS game (name 'em). Culdcept, Magic the Geek Gathering, Baiten Kaitos, Eye of Bullsh*t Camera. Done them all. Game makers, take comfort in knowing that if you make a card game, you'll sell at least one copy.

There's a new one, and it looks pretty good. Creature Defense is a blend of tower defense and card strategy. You work to defend your land against invaders, using a deck you've built. And speaking of card games, Hudson partnered up with Sony to borrow characters from the PS3 game Eye of Judgment.

Creature Defense is available now on the PlayStation Network for the PSP and PSPgo, selling for $7.99. We've got a whole bunch of screens from the game in our gallery below.

Ohh, so this is what the iPhone app was talking about. ElementalMonster TD for the iPhone is currently $1.99 through the 11th, apparently to celebrate the launch of the PSP title, being this one.

I jumped on it since it was cheap, though yet to try it. Swell.

You are the geek 'coz you are not that good at strategic card games. Only the great and the best tacticians are able to handle the greatness of these games. I'm a MAGIC The Gathering player since elementary, and I'm not a geek. I've got a real life, real job (ops manager), a beautiful wife & daughter.

It doesn't mean that you just don't like the game, you can already mock & desecrate the game. Geez! I don't understand how you think. What's with you man!?

You have to be biased when criticizing a thing or a game. This what make a good review.

Yeah I've also got a total nerd-on for anything that is steeped in card battle, deckbuilding, etc. Basically anything that feeds my addictions to tabletop and video games at the same time.

Hell I have very little interest in Madden games but then I hear they're adding on a card-based mode and I'm suddenly checking it out. It's a sickness.

I got it yesterday, that and Super Stardust.

both are enjoyable, but this just kinda fell back because Super Stardust was more addictive.
