We all know Sony is slowly losing their hold on the video game market, and that their game console has been under heavy fire from fans lately. With that thought in mind, check out the video above for a sweet parody song about the PS3.

Sony did a lot to bring gaming into the mainstream and make it was it is today, but the fact that they can shoot themselves in the foot and charge you $600 for it is really sad.

No, the 360 looks good because they can deliver what their customers want for a price they can afford. They can create a system that easily allows developers to make fun quality games and they have a number of exclusive titles that people actually want to play.

My nephew got a Wii for his birthday, and I've played it, and the shiny new novelty has worn off. I was right in my initial personal assessment that I'd rather push buttons than manually have to aim my arm at the television. I'm too lazy even to lift my arm, I'm not sure that's a good thing. Anyway, I enjoy my Xbox 360 but I see no reason to put down the other two competing companies merely because they are in competition with each other. I, as a consumer, can own all of them, but at this initial stage in the console race only Microsoft interests me at the moment, or at least interests me more than the other two alternatives. And to think I bought my 360 on a whim, I didn't even want one until I bought it.
The PS3 has an elitist attitude, no one likes it, it's depressing, has bad taste, and it wants to kill itself . . . .

I never even liked the PS2 controllers. (Except when compared to "the Duke.") The addition of slippy shoulder triggers only adds to my dislike.

watup: I don't need hd-dvd either at least over there there it's a choice and I didn't ask for a multi media machine it still called the a Playstation guess they should have renamed there box MultiMediaStation, just to avoid some confusion.
people argue for the high price. If you take into account, xbox aignt cheap either. its 400$ and IF you want to play HD DVD = 600$+ and last time I remember... PS3 was around that similar price, just not giving you the option to pay less for not having Blue out.
I agree many things havent gone well for sony, and its still development process, but that doesnt mean that out of the entire year and a half of xbox360 has been out, working their bugs out, and releasing tons of crappy games, has had what... GoW as the only good game out? and it came out only to compete against the PS3+Wii release. Now Holding Halo3 as their "Ace" card for whenever they plan to release it when things get faded for xbox, doesnt impress me either.
The Wii has revolutionized what they tried to do over 20 years ago in the NES with the power glove, U-force (yep I had one of those contraptions, lol). If you think about it, the Wii is nothing new, just fixed development over many failed contraptions that it had back in NES days with a minor upgrade from the gamecube. (check angrynintendonerd if you never seen how much a Powerglove sucked)

a bit dumb if you asked me doing this "after" the release of the PS3, but nevertheless, developers & gamers should send sony Ideas how to make their contraption better use other than flame them out, cuz that wont help the gaming community. the PS3 is a system just as Sega had the Genesis & Dreamcast, and I sure enjoyed the DC life span with its shares of good games [berserk, MvsC2, Sonic, ect] even dough we all knew it was going to die as the last Sega console.
I believe the same contribution should be applied to the PS3, even if it dies out. Gamers already paid 700$ for it, better make some use of it other than cook burgers & chicken wings

P.S. ive played xbox360 and know what it can do. though, it's near it's peak performance while ps3 is still in its early stages while the games look the same. sure, gears of war is fun, but the graphics can not compare to Resistance on ps3. i played on my friends HDTV for GoW and the gameplay sucked. all you do is be a hermit and hide behind some wall. the player running towards you has no clue you are there cause you get that lame aerial shot. how does that take any skill. using this hiding behind a wall seems fun for campaign but not when versing other people. resistance on the other hand is a nice traditional shooter. graphics and gameplay are sick. heh, they try to make it though as it was a movie... xbox is surely made more for games than anything. ps3 is a MULTIMEDIA MACHINE. you get what you paid for the games and get the great extra goodies of picture viewing, surfing the web, free online, blu-ray player and so forth. without owning a ps3, you can't appreciate any of this. people with 360 or wii are so stuck up. wii is already turning into the gamecube. demand for the wii will be down soon because everyone that has one is getting one. cmon now it's not for "gamers", it's for a typical family not people trying to play resistance or GoW or especially Sports games.
not the games of the year awards but come on, from the lineup they have, their pretty good. (they wont dissapoint you like Lost-Planet, tons of hype, shit of gameplay). Motorstorm is pretty good if you like beat-em-up racing, you can play with friends. (reminds me of good-ol motorsports for ps)
Sega just released a demo on PS3-store "ala Twisted Metal" which you can play over the net for free and its pretty dam good fun, buildings explode in detail, car's look Grand Turismo style quality, good burn-em fun game. I wont get into much games but Assasins creed, FF13, MGS4, DMC4, elderscroll, Fear, ArmoredCore4, killzone, Tekken6 and thats what I remember at this point of my expected list of good games that are coming up 4-PS3.
So folks, PS3 has good games on their way, just patience till they come out, companies are starting to get the grip on the game-development for the PS3, its been 3 months and its not easy to develop for new technology that actually pushes to improve graphics & gameplay over the competition that just stayes on common technology. Cant wait to see how many thousands of gamers are going to shove up their foot up their hole when it happens.
Last thing to add, depends what games you are looking for:
Wii = fun non violent games for whole family, actual life interaction (break TV's or injure friends & family at your own risk)
xbox = sports games and honestly best fps games
PS3 = mature games, serious graphics & rpg king
if your into bloody games, you cant go say Wii sucks cuz its all fun games and non-mature, you need to know which system supports your gendra.
As for that other joker that talks about "mature games" and "serious graphics" WTF does all that mean? How is - for example - a racing game with guns mounted on the cars roofs mature? I don't argue that a game like that can be fun, I'm just curious of your definition of mature. Besides most games will appear on more than one console, so go ahead categorize all you want. I hope you realize that even the cube has games seen like Killer7, Resident Evil4 and the Wii will see games like Manhunt2 and No More Heroes of which Suda already stated that it will be more violent than Manhunt. Really that kiddy argument went out the window a long time ago.
I did join this site because I like games but it seems where discussing consoles more than anything. I thought that would decline once all the consoles where released but where still going. Too bad, such a waste of time.
