How to do it right: Assassin's Creed Collector's Edition

How to do it right: Assassin's Creed Collector's Edition photo
     PS3

I'm not sure how many times we've mentioned the collector's edition of Assassin's Creed on Destructoid, but who cares ... isn't it awesome?

These new images (obviously from the European release) make crystal clear why the Assassin's Creed Collector's Edition is going to be the one to pick up. A special Penny Arcade comic book, a mini-strategy guide, a bonus disc, and an Altair figure? Sounds good to me.

Assassin's Creed will ship (along with the flood of blockbuster titles) this November.

Yeah, statues are much appreciated. Still, it's a shame the US doesn't get the cool preorder bonus pack like Europe does.

That is pretty sweet, but still have doubts about the game itself.

This is one of the rare collector's editions that looks like a buy...
(If I had either system!)

Did you guys play any Assassin's Creed at TGS? Why does a belt = tackle? That was really confusing to me..

Guys... you do realize that it's only a three-inch tall figurine right?

*Having thrown the rest off the scent, I then go and preorder my own*

Meh, the figure looks like a happy meal toy.
It's no Bioshock, but it's much better than other collector editions.

It looks like a pretty good collectors edition, I'm just not sold yet on the game.

I agree linuxguy.

@ZeroTolo

Wow, I did not know that. The picture makes it look as if it would be much like the Big Daddy that came with Bioshock. Not really worth the extra money if what you say is true.

I know.. but then again, they may be pulling a Bungie on us and convincing everyone that it'll be tiny when we'll get like a 9" figure or something. who knows.

Nick, I think you meant to italicize the word “and” instead of the word “an”.

a bonus disc, and AN Altair figure?
or
a bonus disc, AND an Altair figure?

Anyway, is this not going to be available in America? Because that would suck.

WOW. This looks so cool. They, my friend, know what people want out of a collector's edition. Ubisoft, you have my wallet.

Do want.
