The trend seems to be a slight daily decline in the attractiveness of these internet deals we keep coming across. Nothing will top that $100 Xbox 360, but today's deal from Dell is no slouch.
It's $40 of an Xbox 360 Arcade console, bringing the price down to $159. No coupons or workarounds are required. Just go to Dell and click to add to your cart.
There's a few more things that might be of interest to you in their weekend sale:
- Xbox 360 Elite w/ Halo 3 ODST and Forza III - $269
- Xbox 360 Elite holiday bundle - $259
- Xbox 360 HDMI cable - $19.99 (nice!)
- Street Fighter IV FightStick for Xbox 360 - $34.99

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Should be "off"
Would get one if galaxy and 3Ddgh weren't coming out.
No! Go on Amazon and buy one for like a dollar.
$20 for a HDMI cable sounds like a rip off, get one off amazon for ~$5. Unless there is something I am missing, its just a generic hdmi cable that is needed.
HDMI cables are all essentially the same. I got one off Amazon for a penny and it works perfectly fine.
Its supposed to expire soon, and I'm not sure how long it'll last, so good luck.
Holy shit that is sweet. Almost makes me wish I didn't have a 360 already so I could justify the purchase...

this will teach you everything you need to know
shipping would cancel it out I believe. Especially if you go with two-day.
Overnite shipping would make it a few bucks more than MSRP. That was my experience when I got Bad Company 2 from Dell.
But yeah, brownjohn's code works as of Friday the 23rd of April, so jump on it if you're interested.
I laughed in his face and showed him my HDMI cable that was 6 feet longer, gold plated and worked just as good for $4.
$250 is cheap but I have sooo many games backedup....do want though.
I hate how shit like that goes down!
Amazon was selling games and you get a $20 coupon towards any other game and guess what!? They didn't offer anything of the such in Canada!!! Why the hell do companies do this shit? I end up buying from the US sites anyways as 9/10 times they are cheaper in the long run even after shipping and exchange rates.
Saved $120 on buying my watch from a .com site rather than a .ca site.
"Amazon was selling games and you get a $20 coupon towards any other game and guess what!? They didn't offer anything of the such in Canada!!! "
That's because Canada isn't a real country. That's what I heard anyway, in the documentary "South Park Bigger, longer, and uncut".
"Dear Valued Customer,
On April 21, you placed an order on BN.com for a video game item. Unfortunately, the item you ordered mistakenly had the "Mother's Day Gifts" icon, despite being specifically excluded from the coupon offer. This means that the coupon code you used was not valid for the product you purchased and the discount should not have been applied.
The order has been cancelled in accordance with our coupon details. You will be receiving a second cancellation email shortly from GameStop, our fulfillment partner.
We realize this may cause some frustration and is an inconvenience for you - we are very sorry. You are a valued customer and we don't like letting you down. Please accept this $20 BN.com Online Gift Certificate on us. We are committed to providing our customers with the kind of outstanding service they expect and deserve. We hope to see you again soon at BN.com.
Sincerely,
Barnes & Noble Customer Service"
In other news, woot for twenneh bucks for doing nothing.
Yeah, at least Amazon are cool enough to let you order from whatever site and pay the import costs. It'd make more sense for them to pool/distribute their stock and synch their promotions, but no major company likes money or understands the irrelevance of national boundaries online enough to do that, apparently.
I deal with a lot of .ca's, and they are always subpar in terms of stock, promotions, product support on the website, etc. A .ca that has current driver downloads or updates for the product it promotes would blow my mind.
Back to waiting on June E3 for the real price drop, I guess.
And the world didn't explode!
I managed for example to pick up a brand new 360 Elite-Bundle last Christmas for less than 150 bucks. Maybe that´s why these offers look somehow rather dull to me...
