If you've been catching any of Red vs. Blue during the past couple of years, you'll have noticed that the boys at Rooster Teeth have stepped up their game big time. No longer restricting themselves to basic machinima techniques, they've started hiring animators to craft wholly original action sequences not possible with Halo's in-game engine.
One of the Rooster Teeth animators, Shane Newville, has applied his skills towards a project celebrating the 25th anniversary of Mega Man. Using the models from Mega Man X8, he made a short film in which X infiltrates a Reploid compound, takes out a few low-level mooks with a combination of blaster shots and kung fu strikes that I've never seen him employ in the games, escapes a pursuing Vile, then squares off against a corrupted Zero.
