As you've no doubt heard by now, Cody, Guy and Adon are the latest official additions to the Super Street Fighter IV roster. We got a peek at Famitsu's reveal yesterday, and now IGN has gotten their hands on the first trailer featuring these new badasses.
You can watch each one beating the crap out of somebody above, complete with footage of their ultras and backed by what may or may not be a new theme. Watch the trailer, cringe at the English voice acting, and get ready to try what's on display for yourself this Spring.
When you're done, you can hit the gallery for a load of new screenshots to get a better look at all three.
id have to agree with fadecy but without the rudeness. Cody's voice specifically sounds awesome. It also saddens me that Hugo can be seen in the background in one of those picks almost guaranteeing that he wont make a fighting appearance, however if he was never destined to be in 4 anyway, at least they're still showing him love.
Oh please let Dudly and Ibuki show up. I might stick with this version of SF4 unlike my current one which is collecting dust as I play BlazBlue and Tekken. I didn't really like the english voices in SF4 but now I'm really digging the new character's voices. Anyone think that the person voicing Cody is the same person who voices Urahara Kisuke in Bleach, Michael Lindsey?
@De Bloo: I don't really think that voice suits T.Hawk though.
Adons voice is annoying, but it sounds exactly like his Japanese alpha voice, so I can't really complain.
Also, I'll be sure to keep my opinions to myself from now on so as not to offend. I'll try to make sure any further updates read like the nutrition information on a bottle of spring water if that's how you like it. ;)

If Ibuki makes it I will strongly consider getting SUPER, although I dunno what I'll do with the original one... anyone wanna play some Frisbee?
To be fair, the only one I really had in mind was T, Hawk, but his shit sounds SERIOUSLY out of place. Adon's fits well. The rest are acceptable, I guess.
I wish Adon was voiced by Christopher McCulloch aka The Monarch from Venture Bros.
The voices aren't bad...but most of them run pretty good odds of being switched to Japanese on my game. Especially Juri. One of the beauties of SFIV is that we even have that option, no?

I didn't mean to come across as rudely as I obviously did. Sorry. It's just every time someone makes a remark about all English dubs being bad it reminds me of anime nerd weeaboos.
Prison-Shank and The B-Boy Ninja were my favorites in Alpha 3. Cody was a straight-up gangsta, while Guy was my go-to Guy (hur hur) in all three entries into the Alpha series.
Adon was alright, kinda like Joe Higashi but the SF version. He made his debut in SF1, though, so it's most likely the other way around.
It's a shame that Guy got rid of his sweet Nike Dunks. Now he just wears some red shoes with a strange S symbol on em. Looks a hell of a lot like the Shadaloo S.
Also yeah, most of those voices are really assy. Cody's voice is pretty good considering where the guy came from, and Guys is acceptible, but Juri.. eh. She sounds so scrappy and lezbo-y. Also, what's with that first line?

If these guys are in along with the rumored Ibuki, Makoto, and Dudley, I am several characters away from being in total bliss. Now if they throw in Hugo and Birdie I will be ecstatic.

I've always wanted an arcade stick, so I'm planning to get one when SSFIV comes out, but MadCatz Tournament Edition stick goes for like 250$ here in Moscow and it's nearly impossible to find a used one for cheap, since no one is playing SF. And buying stuff from amazon and ebay is a pain in the ass.
We've got this one for 50 bucks, but it looks scary:

yo, just my two cents, but that stick you're looking at looks like a very baaad investment. First of all, it uses a converter. That's already a bad sign because nearly all converters come with dropped inputs and often times a bit of input lag. Also, 50 bucks for an arcade stick guarantees you're going to get a box of scraps. Those parts are probably very low quality. Invest a bit of cash and get yourself either a Hori EX3 or a TE stick. TE would be ideal because should anything ever happen to the parts, you could swap them out super easily.
@Jonathan Holmes- Yeah, I lose more and more hope with every announcement. It's a shame, I really liked her practical design and moveset in SF3. I mean, I love my fanservice as much as the next guy, but Makoto has a place in my heart since I'm also a practitioner of a real martial art, and not the master of a fictional ki-attack, fireball shooting, dragon punching, and hurricane kicking style of death.
Ah well, if they can at least fit in Ibuki, that'd make my day. Ninja chicks are ALWAYS appreciated.

the next fighter release will be the third strike cast. if you read the magazine article it says "joining the fight from SF ZERO (Alpha in Japan)" So there's no doubt in my mind we will get the 3rd strike announcement next. Capcom said 8 returning fighters and 2 new we have only got 5 returning so far so you can put money on it being Dudley, Makoto and clearly Ibuki based on same said article. That will complete the cast along with the other new grappler.
also i'm not too fond of the english voice actor for juri. adon is really close to his japanese counterpart so thats cool but ill more then likely change them all to japanese anyway besides cody since hes from USA.
Well... I guess I'm glad that there is some Final Fight representation. I'm not glad that they're both characters I could care less about, but whatever. Any love is better than none, I guess.
Maybe next time Capcom will get it right by putting Rolento in, along with Alex, Elena and Q.
I really like that Adon got put in I always loved his design, but what I really want is a character from Saturday Night Slammasters because iirc it fits into the SF timeline. the scorpion/astro, or colt would be awsome.

and uh yea..i'm kinda wanting to know why Cody's still in the jail outfit. It's cool to keep the same moveset, but he could use a design upgrade.
The only slightly bad voice there was T.Hawk. Cody, Juri and Deejay's voices are especially great.
Besides he never really said anything but rabble rabble grumble in SF2.
I'm just just glad it isn't a stereotypical voice.
And Juri's voice is weird.
And Adon's Jaguar kick has Viper Flame kick properties(i.e. he's gonna be dangerous)
