Yesterday was the start of a new week, which means a new series of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 character spotlights. We've already seen videos of Ryu vs. Wolverine and Zangief vs. The Hulk; this week, the showdown is decidedly sexier: Jill vs. Storm.
I don't really know what else can be said about Marvel vs. Capcom 2 after ten years, but these videos piqued my interest only because Jill is one of my favorite characters in the game. She can SUMMON ZOMBIES: sounds like Game of the Year material to me. On the other hand, even though I was a huge X-Men fan as a kid, I never really warmed up to Storm. I get it, Stan Lee, you d*ck: She's African, so she must have some sort of power that highlights her connection to nature, right?
Anyway, I'm sure, dear readers, that at least some of you missed out on MvC 2 -- maybe you weren't born yet, or maybe you gave up on the Dreamcast after the Sega Saturn flopped. Whatever the reason, be sure to check out some gameplay videos after the break and some screenshots and art in the gallery, courtesy of Capcom-Unity. If you've never played MvC 2, you're in for a treat come July 29th, when the game will be released on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.
It seems like Hamza and I haven't shut up about Capcomallmorning, but it's not our fault. They make a lot of games, and games are, like, our thing.
