Hot female snipers coming your way in Last Bullet photo

Anime cutscenes and sniping action on my DS? Oh, HELL YES. Japanese gamers can look forward to Last Bullet in Spring 2009, a Mystery/Shooter title from Furyu. Furyu have previously created cell phone games and purikura booths, but this will be their first title for the Nintendo DS.

for the Nintendo DS. You can see some screens of it over at Famitsu, which seem to depict anime cutscenes and sniping gameplay.

Fans of Gunslinger Girl ought to lose their minds up over this one. No word on whether this game will see a US release, but just based on the incredibly high coolness factor, I'm going to say no. Vastly disappointing, I know. At least you can import it.

As long as they're shooting with me, not at me.

Aaaaand there goes another one for my DS wishlist. For some reason i am finding the handheld as the best thing in the whole generation.

I think I blanked out once I read Gunslinger Girl. Good thing I know someone who knows Japanese fluently to help translate it for me.
