Chillingo recently (a week ago -- OLD!) released a trailer for its upcoming horror game D.A.R.K. It has more than a faint whiff of Dead Space about it, but if the company's past output is anything to go by, it'll be pretty damn good.
The trailer doesn't show much, but we know that it's about surviving against alien monstrosities in a game that mixes shooting and roleplaying elements.

Why does a game that has the words "space", "horror" and/or "mutants" have to be a riff off another game? It's sad with such a large pool of space horror games out there that one has to immediately stand out out of the rest and be a marker by which other games are compared, perpetuating the genre until it gets overpopulated...
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it.
