Sounded like they just mashed the story concepts of Final Fantasy X and Ico together by the way he described it in the video.
Hard core gaming doesn't happen on iOS, no matter what remakes hit it they'll never have a set of games that will pull gamers away from their TVs. Having a console is still fairly affordable, and the games are always better. What he's showing here looks quite generic, and even if it's great... one game alone will not kill off consoles (certainly not with tiny screens nor awkward bulkier ones).

Mobile-gaming will never take over console-gaming, because usually people play mobile-games when they are out, not when they are home.
And they usually play for like 5mins, thats my experience.
AND, the only games people play are games like Angry Birds, Cut The Rope etc.
