Benjamin Rivers, the mind behind the horror game Home, has begun teasing his latest project, Alone With You. Players control the final crew member of an unsuccessful terraforming mission who would all alone on the deteriorating planet were it not for an AI companion.
Speaking about his original idea for the game last year to Joystiq, Rivers said "I want to basically take a game that makes you feel as cool as you do in Persona, as far as relationships, [being] as connected, but see if I can do it without making it so video game-y, but still make it where people maybe even have a more powerful reaction because they buy in."
He's also looking at introducing a "simple, brand-new control scheme optimized for controllers that allows for ease of play." I am intrigued. Rivers will be talking more about Alone With You next week at San Francisco's Game Developers Conference.
