I bet you read our DJ Hero preview and are thinking "Damn, I wonder what that looks and sounds like?" Well, I have good news -- we have a bunch of videos. By a bunch, I mean five.
But there's a lot going on here, including DJ vs. DJ and DJ vs. guitar multiplayer gameplay. Music by Gang Starr, Rihanna, Beck, The Killers, Eminem, and more. Oh, and before I forget to mention, there's a mash-up of Vanilla Ice's "Ice Ice Baby" and M.C. Hammer's "Can't Touch This." That's kind of like when Marvel met Capcom, or the DC Universe battled Mortal Kombat. Or that one time Ed McMahon was on Alf. Sh*t was crazy.

I tried listening to "My Name Is" vs. "Loser" and frankly, it was horrifying. The gameplay looks awfully boring too. I would hope the harder difficulties look MUCH more difficult. Can we see an expert mode maybe? I might still be enticed but I dunno...
I'm repeatedly surprised by two phenomena related to this game, whenever any new tidbit of info or sneak peek lands.
One, how much more it makes me want this game.
And two, how few other denizens of the Internet think it's anything but finely churned shit.
I'm genuinely surprised. This looks enough like a blast to me that I sound like a paid shill when I talk about how much I can't wait for some hands-on time with it.
Ah well. As the saying goes, "Different strokes for different... differing... you can't fool me twice."
I have no idea what to say to these, other than to say that I'm offended in so many ways that I can't even express it.
For me it's backwards. I wasn't interested in this until I saw the videos. I might be a minority here though. :P
This better get better before we spend $120 or $200 on this title.
