Honestly, I wasn't sure if I wanted to watch it because I'd rather know as little as possible before I can go play it. There isn't a lot of spoiler material in the footage to speak of though, and if anything it will probably make you want the game even more than before.
You can see a variety of the game's new mechanics in action, wonder about the eventual load times for such massively open-air levels with this amount of verticality, and maybe even feel your skin react to the demo's final moments.
Ken Levine has been tweeting about how he supposedly has a giant head, which really looked pretty normal to me when he was on stage at E3. He does look ready to swallow Geoff Keighley's head in one bite though, which would ruin the tiny man's perfectly ironed shirt. Maybe Gametrailers should start selling Geoff Keighley Shrunken Heads? Hang them on your rear-view mirror!

Meet the rest of the team
Oh god damn it I love Ken Levine, he could probably fart in my face and I'd rate it 10/10. But moving on I cannot wait for this damn game, I haven't been this excited or hyped for a game in a long time. The story looks set to be engrossing and the gameplay looks mad exciting and fun.
I love that you don't just stand there picking away at the blimp with missles, no fuck that, let's go on a crazy fast amazing way of getting onto the blimp to destroy it, then jump out of it and land like a cool fucker.
This may sound cheesy when I say it, but I seriously mean it when I say this game will probably change my life when it's released. There was enough content in that demo right there to surpass most released games these days. It's games like this that make me proud to be a gamer and proud to be getting into the game industry. Just wow.
Mr. Levine also has a big head? Well, this game just got up my top 5 games to look forward to in 2012. Don't worry, Mr. Levine. Someday, we will ridicule those small headed buffoons! Bwa ha ha ha! On topic, I don't want to spoil this! I've already spoiled about 5% of Uncharted just by watching the trailers!! Arrrggghhh! I've never played a Bioshock game, but this is the one that I'm definitely gonna get this day one!
Mr. Levine's head is only slightly large in proportion to his body and even this seems to fluctuate based on my sightings. He can easily remedy this by doing some upper body exercises but frankly, he looks perfectly fine the way he is.
Oh, and I need to change my boxers after watching that video.
Surprised how little I care about this game. It seems all style over substance with you constantly going around set-pieces in place of having interesting gameplay. Maybe they just stupidly didn't show off what makes the combat interesting, but all I saw was basically just another first person shooter.
That's what I'm starting to see as well. The game looks like it has the two weapons at a time rule, along with regenerating health.
One of my favorite things in the two Bioshocks was that you had every weapon at once, and that many of the weapons had ammo that could be used for setups before battles. Almost made combat feel like a first person Ratchet and Clank at times.
Yeah, and one of the things I loved about the original Bioshock was that, rather than Infinite's approach of having big set-pieces where you're supposed to marvel at how much is going on, it relied more on atmosphere as you explored this creepy abandoned underwater utopia, causing you to constantly feel on edge. I admire that they're not just rehashing the same game again but with a sky theme, but at the same time what they're offering instead doesn't look that interesting to me.
While this game continues to look great, I'm kind of surprised they keep pushing out such a constant stream of publicity content when the game is still at least half a year away. At minimum.
It seems most sites have 'Features of/Interview with/new trailer' almost daily. Too much tease Bioshock...too much tease.
A lot of people have never even heard of the first BioShock, according to Levine. When you have to possibly compete with games like Mass Effect 3 in early 2012, it's probably better to start marketing early to reach a wide audience. That might lead to over-exposure fatigure among people like us down the line, but then again we probably already know if we want to buy this or not :)
I really want to like this because I know everyone else will but...
The way the movement and weapons operate in Irrationals games give me motion sickness, and with the console lead those graphics look dated already. Sigh, everything else looks amazing but it's tough to get past feeling ill.
@GameQueen
I never noticed until you pointed it out, but damn, that must get tiring. I feel quite privileged being the target demographic for most games.
I haven't been following the hype for Bioshock Infinite too closely since I just assumed it was going to be great. But this shit just sh=ky rocketed my anticipation! Looks great, can't hardly wait.
@GameQueen: Yep, because a girl held in captivity almost her entire life is going to be a badass and be able to defend herself with almost zero training and fighting experience. It makes sense in this story.
I think from what I've seen (and hope) it's more of a partner relationship where she'll be using her powers to help you than just ugh taking this person from point A to point B.
A little disappointed about the switching weapons & regenerating health as well because I agree with what DarkPwnge said...

Even so it's still easily my top anticipated game of 2012.

Goddamn it, why does Gametrailers use the only video player that consistently seems to fuck up on my laptop, no matter what. It's like every single video was directed by Max Headroom.
@Epic: Yeah, I don't see this as an escort mission oriented game at all. Even when you were being attacked by the Vo Populi she sorta hid in a corner and they seemed to focus on you rather than her. Also, instantly better than most games where you have an AI buddy cause she helps with bringing stuff in through the tears. So I hope your fears prove to be unfounded.
This game looks amazing and gorgeous and the combat looks intense. My soul is positively dripping with anticipation right now.
I think the regenerating health might be just because it was a demo, if you notice the player almost died multiple times in that firefight so they could have just altered the code so the player wouldn't die
Now onto my opinion, the game looks stunning, to see that amount of action going on at once was amazing. I don't really care how long the load times are it looks like it is going to be an immense amount of fun to battle across the entire battlefield like that.I do see me missing the rails though sometimes in the heat of battles as I loathe platformers and that looks to be a glorified version of a platformer.
@Arianol: I'm guessing the demo wasn't ready for the general public to play yet. I'm happy with the new footage as this game just keeps getting better and better.
Everyone go play System Shock 2 for your PCs. It's easily Levine's best game and will hold you over until Bioshock Infinite. It's also a complex masterpiece with ZERO hand holding (I love the Bioshock series but goddamn, the GLOWING objectives, the optional navigational arrow, he puzzles with the writing on the wall...literally) and probably one of the scariest games ever made. GO. PLAY. NOW.
what are you people bitching about? "dated graphics"?!? yeeeeah, sure... and besides, like art-direction didn't count shit.
"saving the damsel situation yet again"? like you would already know what lies deep in the plot.
Get real, fellas.
Did anyone elses arm hurt just by watching Booker land on that rail after jumping out of that blimp or was it just me? Jesus, did his shoulder not dislodge or for that matter rip off? Oh right, video games.
For some reason I haven't been too fussed about Infinite up until now, even though I loved Bioshock (and it's sequel, in a retarded little brother kind of way). But this looks fucking beeeeyooootiful! Art direction looks fantastic, gameplay chaotic and I love the banter between Booker and Elizabeth. It now joins the ever-growing list of games I can't afford but WANT :(
bioshock had vitachamber to explain death. I wonder what they will come up on this one. Im guessing Elizabeth will bring a "you" from another dimension with a tear everytime you fall to your demise. its kinda cool acatually. cant wait for this, looks amazing

GOD I NEED THIS GMAE!
Oh, and I need to change my boxers after watching that video.
I think it may only be single player, but watching the demo had my mind racing about the different prospects of multiplayer thats available now.
Skytracks....... Floating Ships....... A CTF type destroy the opposing ship match.... Things would get wild fast.

Day one even if I have to whore myself out.
What's with the background "dubstep" during the interview?
Finally saw the video, and hot dang if isn't the most awe inspiring videogame related thing i've witnessed ... like ever!
I absolutely love the interaction between Booker and Elizabeth, and the combat looks ...no words!
I'll join in on the exitement that's dripping all over this comment section.
Really though, this looks a lot like Call of Duty.
"saving the damsel situation yet again"? like you would already know what lies deep in the plot.

I am a believer now.
