These officially licensed Batman Batarang controllers are timed perfectly with the release of the amazing Batman: Arkham City (it was more than an 8.5 to me!). Power A teamed up with Warner Bros. and Rocksteady to make these cool looking controllers for Xbox 360 and PS3. 

Both feature rubberized grips and dual rumble motors. There's seven LEDs to customize the look. The PS3 Batarang ($39.99) is wireless with reverse analog sticks and motion sensing technology. A bonus: a Batman-themed USB receiver. The Batarang controller for Xbox 360 ($49.99) is a wired. I love that the function buttons in the middle are laid out to form the shape of a bat.

Might have to Czech one of these out for PS3 and see if it has the dead one issue that all 360-like controllers seem to have on PS3.

Anything to stop me using a dual-shock is a godsend though.

I got one a while back when I lost grip on my old thumbsticks. Absolutely love it - the design conforms to the hand pretty well.

And, well, it's Batman. I keep it blue for Nightwing.

PS3 controller looks better than the 360 controller. No fanboy. The lights and buttons in the middle of the controller just look cooler.

This actually looks pretty sweet. I've been meaning to grab another controller lately. I just retired one of my controllers (well, it still works, which is impressive surviving God of War, Resident Evil 5, Resistance 2, and several other games on hard mode) and this gives me an excuse to be a nerd.

Just a few questions to anyone that has one. How does it charge? Just like a typical PS3/360 controller? Is it compatible with PS3/360 controller cords we already have? Did anyone have any problem syncing it with their system? I'm still having trouble syncing a controller for my PS3 I grabbed a while ago.

@tehredbaron I bought one (360 version)last week to use on my PC, it is surprisingly well made and doesn't feel cheap. Bought it to replace my Razer Onza that stopped working correctly. (In Razer's defense they are mailing me a new one for free.) I don't regret my purchase.

Why couldn't they just leave the D-pad and Analog stick back to it's original place on the PS3 version, instead of catering to the 360 fanboys? Stupid 360 fanboys changing the control layouts. I really wanted one too.
