You already knew that Human/Capcom's Clock Tower game is making its way to the big screen, and we've heard a bit about the cast of the movie. Now we hear that Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil films, Fifth Element) has been cast in this film adaptation of the survival horror series.
Jovovich will play Alyssa Barron, whom we gather is the protaginst of the Clock Tower film. Since the film is mostly centered around the game Clock Tower II, poor Alyssa will find herself stuck in a mental institution, probably with multiple personality disorder. Or worse.
Bloody-Disgusting says that shooting is scheduled for November in Los Angeles.
Doesn't the casting of Jovovich put your hopes for the film somewhere in the range of the Resident Evil movies? Is that a good thing?
[Update: it seems that Jovovich has denied her involvement via an official fansite. Let's hold this one as a rumor for now.]

Her acting is from plain bad to meh for me as well. She certainly isn't going to get me out to the theaters.
In the 5th Element she is SOOOOO hot, love that movie.
I predict that this film will be about a super model who fights werewolves and vampires in her off hours but then uncovers a plot by gypsy terrorists to blow up Big Ben...wait this is America...the Big Ben look alike in LAS VEGAS. And sense we are in Las Vegas you just know she will work under cover as a stripper and invade the gypsy/werewolf/vampire brothel, but not before her sex scene with the "good" vampire.
Just you wait and see, I bet I just wrote the whole script.
