Holiday Steam sale: Street Fighter IV, Crysis, and more photo

Steam's holiday deals haven't become any less awesome over these last few days, and quite frankly, it's exhausting. I don't know how much more of my new life of blogging exclusively about videogame sales I can take.

This is what happens when everyone in the industry goes off duty; I lose my mind and you nice people go straight to the poorhouse after giving all of your disposable income to Steam and then some. Here's the new set for today:

  • Medieval II: Total War - $4.99 (75% off)
  • Street Fighter IV - $9.99 (75% off)
  • Half-Life: Source - $2.49 (75% off)
  • Shattered Horizon - $4.99 (75% off)
  • Multiwinia + Darwinia - $2.99 (80% off)
  • Crysis + Crysis Warhead - $13.59 (66% off)

The only one in the bunch I'm not a huge fan of is Half-Life, mostly because you'd have to pay me to play the game. It has not aged well, in my mind. Street Fighter IV is great on PC, considering it comes with Sakura Kong. Crysis and Shattered Horizon: if you have the hardware, do it! Everything else? Yes please!

Do not click this link unless you are perfectly fine with eating nothing but ramen noodles for a while.

Or you are waiting for Super Street Fighter IV? Need I remind everyone of that?

Shattered Horizon for only 4.99, people. If you do not buy it now, I can officially certify you as being legally retarded.

This is the weakest day of sales I've seen in the Sale so far.

Still awesome that Steam is doing this though.

I liked today's sales a lot. I bought the Crysis Pack, Shattered Horizon, and the Darwinia pack. I seriously don't know how people are whining when Crysis and Crysis Warhead are $14. That's pretty insane.

Or you rented it, realized a 9 year old just kicked your ass, and refuse to play it ever again. :P

@RIMoonlight

What about people who don't have computers good enough to run it? Are they still legally retarded, then?

Yes, because you should buy it anyways to at the very least support the developers. It's five dollars for it, it's like Steam is paying you to play it.

shattered horizon, although limited is a lot of fun and executes the zero g combat with grace. It is begging for some more weapons and features, but well orth snagging for five bucks.

When I saw Street Fighter IV on here for 10 dollars I made a mad dash for my wallet and bought it without hesitation. I didn't even blink.

And all because I couldn't bear to wait a few more weeks for Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.

Medieval Total War isnt really a one day sale. I bought it for the 75% off price 3 days ago.

Beyond that the deals didn't really interest me since I've already played Crysis and Half Life was fun the first time on normal physics and graphics. The Source version is kind of a joke.

Looking forward to tomorrow's deals though.

Undecided about SF4. I've just always preferred SNK fighters over Capcom's... Still, for the price... I was considering paying the same ten bucks for another copy of Champions Online just for the Steam achievements.

Both Crysis and Crysis Warhead still come with SecuROM, even on Steam, FYI.

I am pretty certain SecuROM's inclusion resulted in more people not purchasing than it prevented from pirating the games.

@Cacophony,

Just thought I'd add that when purchasing MW2 Total War, you're not buying the expansion pack.. which means certain awesome mods like Stainless Steel won't work properly UNLESS you use an older version of that mod.

That's one of those things you just wouldn't know until it's too late.

Adidas is a popular footwear company that manufactures a variety of athletic boots. Adidas City Series designed for hiking, boxing and outdoor winter sports. Mens Adidas Shoes are made of heavy leather, canvas and wool components, along with heavy-duty rubber soles. The fabrics are waterproof, which helps them keep feet warm and dry. Adidas Shoes are very durable and for the most part are resistant to stains and residue, but over time buildup can accumulate on the boots, detracting from their appearance.
