The Hanafune Times has posted three videos from the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Wii-make that's coming to the US next month. They're taken from the Japanese release with English language settings. Now, I'll admit to having not watched them all the way through, so there could be porn in there somewhere, but it looks like it's the first twenty-five minutes of the game.

I'm not sure if I'm going to get this when it comes out next month in the US. I've already played through the series, so I don't know that I really need to do this again. But the thought of playing it on my television does have a certain appeal and would make it more likely that some other members of my household would give it a shot.

Are you lot going to grab it? If you are, is it more due to a desire to see it all big and pretty (at least, as pretty as the Wii can manage) or because Phoenix Wright stuff is simply irresistable?

You can check out the second and third videos after the break.

I was so excited when I heard PW was going to the Wii, but when I learned it was just a repackaging of the first game, my hopes were dashed.

Already played them all on DS but this looks like a reason to finally get a Wii. Although I think after playing it for a couple of hours I'd end up realizing it's not really something you want to stare at a tv to play.

Yes, I will buy these again, if not just to jam out to the tunes on my booming, booming system.

Holmes hit the nail on the head. The music in these games are legit. And I want it dripping out of my B&Ws.

@007 - Everyone knows that the Wii is just 4 DS's duct taped together.

I lost my copy of the first phoenix wright RIGHT before I was going into the final case. Pissed me off.

At least this way I can finish the game so I can play and finish the other games.

I'll probably buy them just because I missed them when they first came out, and I've wanted to play the series from the beginning instead of just jumping in somewhere in the middle... and downloading the earlier games is so much easier than trying to hunt them down.

Funny how it worked out for me. I've ignored them for years. I said to myself, "WTF is all the fuss? How can it be fun to play a lawyer?" I threw it on my R4 to try demo style as I often do before buying DS games, but didn't try it for a while. Eventually I was listening to an old Podtoid and Jim basically said what I said, but followed it up with how amazed he was that he was loving it. I literally booted it up that minute.

I tried it out and before the end of the first trial I was hooked hard. I decided the next day to try to buy it. It was then that my hopes were dashed. All 3 of the first games in the series sell for around 100 bucks new and 40-60 used with no manual or box. I said eff that.

So played most of the way through the first one on my R4 with minimal guilt considering I dug through damned near every store in search of a lucky rogue copy. Then I heard these news of these. Not only can I stop feeling like a heel, but there's another benefit.

I tried explaining to my wife (who is an avid gamer) but she said it just sounded stupid ("here we go again" I thought). Well, one day out on a walk I started talking about where I was in the middle of a trial because I just couldn't figure out whodunnit and I couldn't wait to get back to the DS later. After some discussion about it she was asking me for more info about the case and trying to help me out. Then she kept hounding me while I was playing about new things I was finding out.

Needless to say, she wants in on this. BAM... so now I can have it on my Wii, legit, and play it with my wife. Epic win in my book. Only downside is hearing that it's lazy port not even using the Wiimote as a pointer. I'd rather them use it as a pointer than have silly objection motions.

Man...After seeing these videos, I feel a little guilty for not getting any of the Ace Attorney games...

I gotta see if my local GameStop has any used or with reduced prices.

Ugh just makes me remember how MUCH i hate that Larry Butz clown, worst character in the franchise.

I stay with these games for the DS though, no need to get it again.

Yeah, as much as I love Phoenix Wright, there's no reason for me to get this. I could play through any of the four currently available Ace Attorney games any time I want, on my DS.
