Hitler, werewolves, vampires, and zombies come together at last in RPG form photo

Imagine an alternate reality in which Nazis, vampires, zombies, and werewolves fought together in World War II. This is the basic plot line for Operation Darkness, a tactical RPG heading to the Xbox 360 this June from Atlus.

The official Web site for the game has launched today, along with some new screens and videos, so head on over when you get the chance. Trust me, you won't want to miss out on seeing Hitler's character profile.

While I'm still trying to figure out how this insane concept was successfully pitched, I'm not complaining in the least bit; Operation Darkness is the stuff my dreams are made of. It's just so crazy, it has to work! Doesn't it?

Bloody long overdue, japan have had this for a while.

Thanks Success Corps, OD is another reason I'm glad I have a 360.

The part of me that hates furries, wants me to not buy this game, but the part of me that likes Nazi werewolves with machine guns wants me to think that this is the best idea ever.

Don't see how it could fail... it's got the recipe of an amazingly awesome, yet bad scifi movie, yet it's coming to the 360!

"Hot anime girls fighting Hitler and the Undead on a 360 game from Atlus." That is the most perfect combination of words in a sentence for me.

Yay! I was hoping this one would come over when I saw a trailer for the Japanese release last year-ish.

I was actually playing Silent Storm last month, so an animed-up, werewolf-inclusive WW2 turn based strat game would be just my dose at the moment.

Whoever said it was a new idea?

Nazis were naming shit after werewolfs and such during the war, they even had early, primative night vision/STG-44 combo they called 'vampir' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_vision_device#Generation_0

City of Heroes, had a nazi enemy group (the fifth column, which they later wussed down to 'the council') which was repleat with 'warwolves' and 'vampyres'.

Don't forget Helsing and Hellboy, among many others, who have made the nazi-horror-movie-monster connection.
