Former PlayStation Portable-only God of War titles Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta look stellar as part of the PlayStation 3 God of War: Origins Collection. But don't take my word for it, see it for yourself: there's a demo coming to PlayStation Network on September 6.
The demo will feature a section of Ghost of Sparta, remastered and reworked for the PS3. That means full HD, stereoscopic 3D, and support for the dual analog DualShock controller.
Even better news for PlayStation Plus members, you can get the demo tomorrow, August 30. The game will be on store shelves September 13; I'll have my full review of the collection this week. If you're wondering what I think, my reviews of Ghost of Sparta and Chains of Olympus should give you a pretty good idea.

That wasn't the case in the first two games. Kratos as always been a bit of a jerk, but there was an impetus to his actions. However, his behavior in GoW3 was nothing short of sadistic. What he did to Helios was patently unnecessary.

Don't hate on God of War 3. Sure, the story may not have been perfect, but the game is still one of the best, if not THE best, looking console game yet, but the gameplay was also as perfect as a Japanese anime school girl's tits. And yes, ripping off Helios' head was 100% A-OK!! Kratos' goal in the third game was to KILL all the gods, no matter how he does it. Plus, that scene was really freaking gory and badass. Did your mom yell at you when she saw you ripping off Helios' head or something?
Anyways, will be downloading this demo, but not buying the game. I only have enough for one game. Do I want Disgaea 4, or White Knight Chronicles 2? Should I cancel my StarFox 64 3DS pre-order to get those 2 RPGS, or just keep it? Aaarrrgghh!!!!... Will get God of War Origins in December though.
