Hideo Kojima not keen on remaking his previous games

If he had to choose MGS 1 would be the one

Considering most of the Metal Gear Solid games have been re-released in various fashions over the years, it's surprising that Hideo Kojima isn't too keen on remaking his older games. When asked at Konami's Metal Gear Solid V event today in Germany, Kojima said that if he had to remake one of his older games, it would be the original Metal Gear Solid.

Still, he said that if a remake were to happen, it would be more like the recent Planet of the Apes films, most definitely not a straightforward remake. I'm kinda bummed out by that answer; I want to see a updated version of Snatcher!
