Last week, Hideo Kojima stated that a new Zone of the Enders was at the top of his to-do list, providing a modicum of hope to those who want to see a new entry in the mech-battling series. Now the Metal Gear Solid creator has truly committed, promising that the game will happen.

He also explains why Zone of the Enders didn't sell very well, claiming that he timed the release wrong: "Everything was due to an error by me.
