Does the environment in the above video look at all familiar? It should, if you’ve been keeping up with footage from DICE’s extreme delivery simulator Mirror’s Edge.

The video shows the rooftop level that was playable at E3 recreated in Portal’s game engine. The level was designed in Hammer by a modder that goes by the name EvilWeevil, who was in a creative rut until a chance encounter with a Mirror’s Edge trailer awoke his creative spark. I think I speak for everyone here when I say “nice yob, meng.”

I am little disappointed that EvilWeevil doesn’t seem to have the level up for download anywhere, though. C’mon man, we want to play it too!

The video serves as an example of why some people may want to play as a free-runner, rather than someone with little athletic ability holding a portal gun...

I'd rather keep flowing than thinking, man.

Spiffy. Any idea where we'd be able to find a download of the map?
