Far be it for me to criticize someone for not coming through on a promise of "earth-shaking news," but Konami, what gives? Yesterday I brought you news of Konami's claim that we'd all be treated to some major news from the publisher. Well as of 9 p.m. Eastern, there's only this:
Konami Announces New Castlevania, DDR Games!
Last week Konami announced new games in its Castlevania and DDR series, bringing these renowned franchises to new platforms with all-new gameplay twists. Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles for the PSP® system delivers the classic game Castlevania: Rondo of Blood in 3D for the first time, with timeless side scrolling gameplay and incredible animations. DDR Hottest Party brings nonstop dance action to the Wii™, letting players get their whole body into the groove as they dance with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. What was it again that Summa knocked us to the floor with... The Wii being in production? Maybe he's Konami's new PR guy. (:P)
Maybe it was a bargaining ploy to get Sony to shell out more money for MGS4 exclusivity.
Or maybe the Wii is in production... Who knows.
