Not the best HAWP episode to date, but I don't care. I've been jonesin for some HAWP for a while... I'll take what I can get.

I hate the people who tell others who don't like it to piss off or don't watch it. Like they have more of a right to not hear negative things about their little love than other people have a right to say those things.

Amongst those comments are some real constructive criticisms I'm sure you guys will pay attention to, like some weak references. People just have a habit of shouting hate without actually telling people why they think something is bad.

You should give ADR a go. If you can do it well I really think it will improve the sound quality, mainly removing the reverb (I noticed that the level of the reverb varies because you change rooms and the acoustics are all different).

Although it's difficult without a studio I managed it once by sitting under my duvet listening to the lines over and over and using a piece of paper as a pop shield. But if you're getting paid you might be able to fork out for a mac and the software (I forgot what it was called but it basically loops a selected "track" of the film over and over so you can rerecord the sound, I think that's why dubbing is sometimes referred to as looping)

What camera are you guys using? Maybe it's my monitor but the first scene seems a little too bright (On Ash's face), so maybe you should turn the F-stop down a notch. In the second scene in her bedroom, why do you have those lights on? If the other light is too dark or you don't have another light try doing a white balance for that room and every room you shoot in. I don't want to sound patronising but the button looks like two right angle triangles facing eachother with a rounded square in the centre. Hold up a sheet of white paper, or anything nearest to pure white (some paper has a yellow tint), so that the entire frame of the camera is white (covered but not dark) through the viewfinder then press and hold that button (although it may vary with other cameras). Here's a little guide on white balance to show how it can effect the quality of shots.

The basic thing you need to be thinking of everytime is whether the light is sunlight or artificial or a mix of the two.

Apart from that, the writing is a little hit and miss. The interaction at the beginning is pretty solid and I really liked it but other stuff can seem quite forced or the timing a little off but with practice it'll get better. I'm not that great of a writer anyway so I don't have any suggestions.

Sorry, looks like I'm not acknowledging you Clance. I agree, you can polish something too much but I think that you can still do some of the things I suggested without losing it's charm and still make it feel like a home video. But I'm not pressuring anyone, doing what you enjoy is all that matters.

Anthony, great job on the video, but to tell you the truth, I didn't like this video as much as the others. The time travel connection was a bit loose, but that's not to say it was a bad video, just that it wasn't as good as the others. But I digress- it was still good.

I don't think this was the best one to give an introduction to the people at Gametrailers. We find it kind of funny because we've been following the series but to everyone else it isn't every relevant. Plus, the time travel thing in the middle needed to be a lot shorted. Still, loved the camera work and the performances in the first half, looking good in HD!
