If you're the kind of person who thinks that seeing the entire intro cinematic to a videogame is a "spoiler," don't watch the above video. Why? Because it's the opening of Lionhead's Fable III in its entirety, as released by Microsoft and the developer this morning.
At the risk of spoiling, let's just say I'm glad I'm not a chicken. Because it seems in the world of Albion is not kind to domestic fowl. The intro sets up the idea of having to fight for freedom in a world where inhabitants can only dream of such liberty. Fable III has players leading a rebellion in a bid to take over the throne of the tyrannical King Logan. Oh, Logan just happens to be your brother. Oops.
Fable III is out October 26. Get to making your own villager now.

Anyways, it looks like the style of the Fable series is still kept, but its alot more darker now, as far as CGi goes.
Too bad it'll be nothing like the original as the RPG elements are either nerfed or non-existant, so my hopes are pretty low.
Love the whimsical charm of Fable games.
Definitely pumped. It won't be the second coming, but it'll be a nice action/adventure title.

Really, there's nothing to spoil there since they've already announced what the game is about anyway (and those announcements were more detailed). Still, I liked it and I'm very much looking forward to Fable III. I actually thought II was a pretty big improvement even if some things bothered me.
