Oh. My. God!! This is one of two games I'm pre-ordering so far this year (the other being Bioshock Infinite). Cannot wait for this! Even the multiplayer looks pretty damn good...

I hate when they use film actors just because they are recognizable names for animation and games when there are dedicated voice actors who will usually do a better job. I mean Freddy Prinze and Jessica Chobot are people who get hired because they are hot not because they have distinctive voices. You don't see the actors in a game. Not that the game industry has a history of using good voice actors.
Chobot? I remember her running a campaign to get into ME3... and yeah she also had an epic rant which was deleted about why the DLC in ME2 wasn't working. Then I recall this tweet later:

Rammstein's right. Just being a fan of Mass Effect is not justification to cast some random internet person as a voice in your video game, especially not one as huge as this.
@Moblin88: I guess after Dragon Age's Felicia Day, Bioware realize nerd celebrities are a huge boost to the sales, and if they like the games in the first place, its likely they will charge Bioware little just to be there.
@Hermes Um they are not a huge boost to sales, I've also heard that DLC sucked. DA2 was meh to begin with, Day was cast in the DLC due to the short series which sorta made sense. *ima buy the dlc when it's on sale*
In fact I'd say Chobot boosts ME sales 0.0% It's nice of them to do for her but IMO is un-needed and undermines real professionals that could of done a better job. But I really don't care either way unless the character is written in just for her and I hope that's not the case. But Bioware needs to not make there games a casting circus like they do DLC. Anybody else notice that at the end it said it is releasing 9-3-2012 instead of the 3-6-2012 that has been in all of the other videos? Is it getting pushed? Or am I just missing something?
Well there're goes my fucking immersion, why the hell did they model the face exactly like Chobot as well as making here a crew member? It's that weird Dragon Age 2 Felisha Day DLC all over again with here weird face all over the game.
If they are going to have Jessica Chobot in there, why didn't they throw in Jim Sterling...no, not as some gigantic Jabba the Hutt type creature, so don't even go there. Do they even have any non-evil Brits in the cast (Dr. Chakwas doesn't count)?
Better yet, why not add in Jonathan Holmes? He's what the man of the future will look like, anyway. Everyone else in sci-fi will be playing catch up to him!

That omni-tool sword is pretty badass. Not sure what that being one of their marketing icons says about the direction the game has taken though.
My Masses will be Effected by Chobots? I don't really have any respect for her at all. . .It wouldn't bother me if they used her voice, but it looks like they included her likeness as well. . .which makes me sad.
I don't care if they put a vid of Jennifer Hale, Jessica Chobot, Tricia Helfer, and Yvonne Strahovski topless and bouncing on a trampoline in with the game. As long as I'm required to put EA's spyware on my computer to play I will not purchase this or any other product from EA. But if they wanted to tempt me, I'd be okay with that.
