Metal VVVVVV soundtrackHere's your jam for today: VVVVVV soundtrack, but metal photo

Terry Cavanagh's gravity-flipping platformer VVVVVV is beloved for many reasons, and for a lot of fans, one of those reasons is Magnus "Souleye" Pålsson's kicking electronic soundtrack, PPPPPP. I know I have spent afternoons listening to it from start to finish.

To commemorate the iOS and Android releases of VVVVVV, Souleye has teamed up with Jules "FamilyJules7x" Conroy to produce an album made up entirely of metal renditions of the soundtrack. MMMMMM features every song from VVVVVV, as well as two tracks that were added for VVVVVV 2.0. If you liked it before and are not averse to radical guitar solos, it is well worth a listen. You can stream it for free below!

VVVVVV is coming to the PlayStation VVVVVVita

Review: VVVVVV (3DS)

VVVVVV is one of those games that doesn't feel like it should exist. It's name alone is hard enough for most people to compute. Then just look at the thing. It's nostalgic for a period of gaming that even I'm almost too old t...more

VVVVVV for the 3DS is... well, it's VVVVVV

During the eShop preview event, Tyrone Rodriguez of Nicalis was on hand to demonstrate the 3DS iteration of the revered, renowned, and hard-as-balls VVVVVV. I can confirm here officially - the game is still as insanely difficult and as infuriatingly addictive as ever. As for new additions to the VVVVVV gameplay structure, well...more

One more time: VVVVVV headed to the 3DS eShop

It's no secret that we love VVVVVV. Really, we can't get enough. Terry Cavanagh's acclaimed platformer is making the transition to 3DS, of all places, thanks in part to publisher/indie superfriend Nicalis. Rather than being a...more

Sportsfriends hits Steam on Friday, but Johann Sebastian Joust isn't playable in Windows
