Here's who I'm picking as the Final Fantasy Superfan

Aside from me, of course

We told you earlier this year about Square Enix's contest to find the ultimate superfan of the Final Fantasy series for its 25th anniversary. With that prestigious title comes a listing in the credits of upcoming game Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. They'll also recieve two tickets to the Distant Worlds concert in Paris, France, set for January 12, 2013.

The polls are open to vote on the top fan at this special webpage. You only get one vote, so make it count!

My pick is...well, the top pick. #1. 'tifita,' or Barbara from Spain. Her fandom matches mine with her love of Final Fantasy music. I would have made a similar video as I have over 40 series themes memorized for piano, and have written special arrangements for several more. I regularly sing "Eyes on Me" and "Melodies of Life" for anyone who will listen, too.

It's just that she sounds and looks much better than I do when performing Final Fantasy songs. Oh, and she also runs a blog (like me!) and has a her own Final Fantasy tribute game.

But to show that I'm not a blind follower of the masses, hit the jump to see my #2 pick. What a collection!
