Here's what Retro City Rampage looks like on the Vita
Retro City Rampage's mastermind Brian Provinciano sat down with the PlayStation.Blog to show off his baby running on the PlayStation Vita. Brian details some of the Vita features, from the optimized visuals for the handheld screen, the touch functionality, and there's even a dot-matrix filter option to give the game a Game Boy/Game Gear feel for that old school touch. Best of all, there's going to be cross-play functionality, meaning you can play Retro City Rampage on the PlayStation 3 and transfer over to the Vita when you have to be on the move. Nice. Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)God fucking dammit. RELEASE IT. I don't want to see it running on platforms it wasn't even originally announced for, I just fucking want it...
*sobs in corner That's nice, now when the heck is the game coming out? I preordered the PC version a while back when they first announced it was coming out this month, but now it looks like that's not gonna happen. It's okay, I can wait, I can be patient, I have other games to play, I just want to know when it's coming! Waiting is harder when you have no idea how long you need to wait for! @PhilK3nS3bb3n Dude is apparently determined to release this on all platforms simultaneously, which means even if the game's complete, which as this point it likely is, we're stuck waiting for whoever takes the longest to approve it and schedule a release before any of us get it. In other words, it's a toss up whether it's XBLA or WiiWare that's holding shit up, but neither is known for being timely when it comes to this kind of thing. I neeeeeeeeed this now! According to the PS Blog: the game is done and the developer is just fixing the final bugs, so maybe it will come out in June? Hey guys, I wouldn't expect an actual review because every staff on destructoid ever is in this game. just a heads up! I love that this video is making the rounds because I'm all too eager to chime in and announce my presence at the 33 second mark :P
...yes, that's me on the left The guy has been crafting this thing since Grand Theftendo, I'd rather him not release it right now and make it exactly how the hell he wants first. The game will be much more worth it in the end. I have it pre-ordered on PC, but definitely will also buy it on VITA, and most likely for WiiWare too. This is my first extended glimpse at the game.
And I want it on my Vita right now. It looks stunning. @Donald: I will rape them all if they don't hurry. Every last fucking one. Thank you for the info. I need to go wash my raping pants. The only consoles this game hasn't been announced are the 3DS and Colecovision.
Get to it folks, my 'vision could use some fresh material. But seriously...when is this game coming out again? I sincerely hope no new consoles are released between now and when this game is ready. Otherwise he'll have to port to those as well! 6:00 PM on 05.23.2013 PC gamers don't have used games, and we're just fineWith the recent lack of clarification of the used game market for the new Xbox One, some gamers are complaining about the possible death of physical used games, and the need to tie all of our games to an account. 5:00 PM on 05.23.2013 Review: Might & Magic Heroes VI: Shades of DarknessI like the Heroes of Might & Magic series, but it has never been perfect. It's a very niche set of games that aren't quite role-playing titles or full-fledged strategy games. They are almost their own weird hybrid ge...
