I was informed earlier today that the second part in a series of animated shorts inspired by Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has been out for a while now, and after seeing the strong response the first video got, I had to make sure everyone saw the follow-up.
So yes, it is "old," but then again it's not like this stuff is time sensitive or anything. Anyway, I found this short, "The Duty," to be generally more interesting than "The Call." So much so, that I had a tough time deciding which still image to use for this post. As you can see, the sociopath in me won out.
Once again, this video was rated five stars by YouTube members. Thanks to Dtoider DaedHead8, here's another clip that ranked highly. Yes, I did just lose about 99% of you, but it was so worth it.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied: "bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

This "animation" seems like half done. Some of them are black and white or are scribbled. And almost all of it is slide show. The actual drawing is okay though.
I'm with Jozo, this reminds me of Ashley Wood's(the artist behind MGS:Digital Graphic Novel and Portable Ops) art style at many times throughout the vid. Very nice indeed.
Hah, thinking about it now, I think I'd pay for a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Digital Graphic Novel, lol.
If its 2D and it has movement at all, its 2D animation. Doesn't take a genius to figure that one out fella's. Constructive critism is only constructive when it is constructive...otherwise it is just critism without reason.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
The CoD animation is pretty swanky too.

Except the rap on the end...:/
