Here's the full list of tracks for Band Hero photo

Fact: I have literally not paid any attention to Band Hero except for the time Nick told me Taylor Swift was in it.

So then, today's unveiling of the game's full track list by Spinner is even more of a shock to me; since I am unaware of what has and hasn't been confirmed for Band Hero, this stuff is all brand new to me.

Personally, I think it's a fairly strong line-up. Most of it, as far as I can tell, is music we haven't previously seen in other rhythm games. Strangely enough, the vast majority of these songs are ones that stand out as something I'd prefer to sing, rather than play on guitar, bass, or drums.

Well, what are you waiting for? Hit the break to see the full list before I run out of filler content to write. Whoops, too late!

3 Doors Down? Dashboard? Evanescence? Hilary Duff? Papa Roach? 3 Taylor Swift songs? Yellow Card douche-frat pop? Shitty "poppy" hits from a number of otherwise good artists?

Good music, we hardly knew ye.

Also, wtf why does the DS version seem like it's geared towards a different audience?

so is this just guitar hero for people with bad taste in music?

or those who would just prefer to rock and roll on saturday night, and party maybe once a week... maybe twice on holiday weekends

The DS list is slightly better than the console edition IMO. BUT "HANG ME UP TO DRY"?!?!?! I would almost be willing to pay $60 for just that song, or any Cold War Kids for that matter. I would love to try to flex my vocal pipes to "Something is Not Right With Me" and probably fail in the process.

Quite a bit of crap, but there is a whole hell of a lot of good stuff in here, too. I mean, this is what music games are supposed to be about. I love me some metal and a smattering of other things, but these games aren't built just for fans of one type of music-I just can't believe it took this long for a music game to have a decent stock of variety.

Far too much pop for my liking. And Spice Girls? WTF

The DS version doesn't look too much better.

Anyone seeing two or three songs they want...I am willing to bet the best ones get to Rock Band within a few weeks after the game's release.
Not enough here to shell out $60, not even close.

Its called "Band Hero" not "Guitar Hero 6", so obviously its something different fuckin idiots!

Personally, The Guitar Hero franchise imo can do away with all the rock music and keep being more diverse. Im tired of playing metallicas and weezers, its all getting old.

Confirmed: My younger sister wants this.

Seriously though, there may be a lot of crappy songs on this list, but atleast there's none of the stupidly unfun metal songs that plague most other music games. Overall this set list appeals to me way more than the average guitar/band game and I'm not even a fan of most of these artists.

Now if only it weren't made by Activison.

I think this raises a pretty good question for Rock Band: Why are a lot of these mass market appeal songs not available for download in Rock Band? The only reason for this game to even exist would be to play as Taylor Swift if Rock Band would just broaden and deepen their DLC catalog.

Thirteen-year-old girls are gonna love this.

But I guess they're who it's intended for, so the list has done its job.

To be fair Lego Rock Band is trying to do the same thing this game is only putting more emphasis on getting titles for the whole family instead of Top 40s. So it's not like they're not trying. Pluss they have all those Nintendo/MTV tracks on the RB Store and country. I don't disagree that there's not much Top 40s pop but, especially when a very big chunk of the BH setlist is already in RB, you gotta admit they're tryin'.

Femme Hero set list is Femme-tastic. Unfortunately I am male, nor do I have a girlfriend at the moment, and even if I did, I doubt she would want to play this, and would rather play the Rock Band of the second part. At least they aren't putting this up in a lilac box...

I have already played this game extensively. I actually prefer it to GH5.

The songs are mostly guilty pleasures, or are surprisingly fun to play. The drums in Sugar We're Going Down are ridiculous fun.

"Angels of the Silences"? God dammit, I want that. The rest of the setlist looks just okay, but I see several other songs that have yet to make their way into Rock Band, so there's at least some merit in this game.

Cool another rock music DDR wannabee game. I wasn't entertained when GH came out, and I'm still not by this. If I want to play rock music, I'll learn guitar, not wallow in the illusion of it with a piece of plastic.
