Protecting your furniture from condensation is good long-term planning. But using the standard "I stole this from a bar" set of coasters isn't exactly the greatest way to impress guests and, more importantly, people over the Internet. That's why we're applauding Destructoid reader Alex and his wife for the above set of condensation-catchers. They're created in the likeness of the Animal Orbs from the downloadable brawler Castle Crashers, which means we're impressed by default.
One question, though: how could you put a drink on that Cardinal's face. He's much too adorable to get wet. We humbly suggest, Alex, that you make Duke Nukem pig cop coasters next. Now there's something we could slap a tall one on top of.

They're not available for purchase as of yet. We only made one set. They took a while as they're all hand painted and constructed from a few different materials. But, I'm looking into it. I need more coasters in my life too.
Every time I read a story on this dev I remember how they said Castle Crashers was coming to the PS3, and how happy I was with that announcement.
Then I remember how long it's been since they said that without a peep on the issue.
I don't know how many people they have working there, but this is probably the slowest development team I've ever seen. I'm also worried that the PS3 version will come with glitches like the 360 version and it'll take months to fix it as well.
