Apparently it's just a cool sound that you drop every 2 seconds to make your trailer "epic"
If there's some kind of problem that needs to be discussed, please feel free to PM me on here or send me a direct email. My email should be in my user info. Looking forward to hearing from you.
All he said was you were a buzzkill. The Stealth kood-aid is something you shouldn't be drinking. Let's put this into perspective, the anonymous poster is calling three people using their real IDs pussies and cunts for not saying things to his face. Perspectives.
Just thought I'd try to figure out why I got dragged into it and where the issue comes from rather than getting into an argument about it.
Now if Maurice would like to address me personally and let me know why he decided to do that, I'd appreciate that. I'm not angry or offended, I'd just like to know what I did to offend the guy since I barely even recognize the name and wouldn't know who he was if he sat in my lap. I don't think I've ever exchanged a single word with the guy. So Maurice, shoot me a PM or email if there's a problem, or reply here if you're not cool with that. I'd like to hear from you.
Also i hate these gimmicky-fake-drama driven hollywood trailers, the only thing missing was the overly unnecesary background chorus.
I played Slender last night and came fully to terms with the fact that Silent Hill will likely never be scary in any capacity again.
Also. How is there a Heather Mason movie without Harry?
Why? Read up good old PH based on the original SH2 information, he's not exclusive to James, never was, it's PH's actions in SH2 that are exclusive, PH himself is the executioner of Silent Hill's past embodied as a monster, that's why he can appear in other stories, but with different goals.
This however.. looks.. ehhhhhhhhhhhh.. and while I'd like to blame the 3D for it, I think the over all story is to blame for it, mostly the terrible plot hole of how Sean Bean gets his daughter back, without the wife. I really hope this gets explained. Visual effects look like ass too, they aren't nearly as realistic as they were in the first -a total back pedal, probably because of the 3D
Plus: Sean Bean.
The execution aspect was only because James with obsessed with the history of Silent Hill, so it was his manifested persona, That's why Heather and Harry or... The Room guy never saw him.
Also, the amount of "Doesn't look great, but I'll see it anyway" is fucking shameful. Especially when GOOD movies like Hot Fuzz and Scott Pilgrim bomb in the US.

Wasn't really much better than the trailer though.
Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh is about all I have to say about this whole thing. Needless 3D catering and slow-motion, bleh title (man those saucy revelations), just an overall mediocre vibe.
And I really liked the first one too (until the later fourth where the pacing got all kinds of screwed up).
@Jim Sterling: I'll watch it, just to see what Ned Stark tells Jon Snow about his mother from beyond the grave, in this alternate dimension of A Song of Ice and Fire. That's my stone cold premise and I'm going with that!
2. What the hell have they done to vincent? He was my favourite character in Silent hill 3
I know not all video game films can be as faithful to the source material as Pheonix wright is but my god.
Lets make Vincent a young teenager so he can be a love interest! He can also replace Dougs role cause who wants to see an old man on screen?
Oh! wouldnt it be great if the town wasnt desserted but filled with creepy people? thatll spook the audience!
Hey, instead of having creepy things happen in a unexplained manner lets get a creeeeeeepy little girl do it all in cool 3d scences!
I know Pyrimand Head is a villian exclusive to James Sunderland and its really impossible for him to turn up for anyone else, but hes cool so lets throw him in anyway cause who really cares about the games anyway??
... Im going overboard but I really hate the way theyve diluted such a great story
