As awesome as this is, I really found myself enjoying the spin offs much more than the RoT3K warriors games. I'm really looking forward to Gundam Musou 3 which will have 4 player online co op. But hey if they can give us online co op for Gundam I hope they can do the same for DW7.
Praise Zeus, my prayers have been answered. Ma Chao looks epicly badass. I don't know why, but this is by far my favorite iteration of his model.
I can't wait for this game. The draw distance actually doesn't suck. And it's returned to the PS2 era combat.

For some reason, it bugs me that Cao Cao's using a big fat sword than his usual longsword that he's had before. Hm. I dunno. And I'm really hoping they finally bring in online co-op or something in the DW series....
Bloody Nora, he really is Richard E Grant. I'll be very disappointed now if he doens't say "I have a heart condition" mid-battle.
BUt the game's looking great. I think these are the best-looking character designs the series has had since #3. Only things I'm not liking are Ling Tong (who didn't look great before anyway) and some of the female characters, who look a bit twee and limp-wristed, although Xing Cai and Zhen Ji look suitably badass. The two eye/one-eyed Xiahou Dun isn't actually that new though, they did it in Dynasty Warriors 2 as well.

I'm actually not a fan of the redesigned Zhao Yun and Lu Xun, but otherwise I'm loving what I've seen and heard of this game. Tis a good time to be a Koei Warriors fan!
Looking pretty hype, but I'd like to know what they've done with the combat system this time. Hopefully it's nothing like that mess that was DW6.

I agree with you about the made-up female characters, Jim...they still haven't put Lady Wu in any of the games, and she was one of the coolest characters in the novel!

i hate koei for doing this to me...i simply cant resist.
i know its bad and bad it is for me, hours after hours of leveling up these hollow shells of clichéd wanna-be-characters...the guilty pleasure of exterminating every enemy-officer on the field. and every one of them friggin archers if possible
