Here it is folks, the
Grand Theft Auto IV trailer. The trailer shows off various locations around the pseudo New York City, Liberty City. We also are introduced to the main character and which gang you'll be mainly working for, the Russians.
Aside from that, not much else is revealed. So until Rockstar releases some more videos, we just have to keep playing the guessing game.
Is it everything you imagined it would be?
Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. Kudos to Rockstar, looks amazing!
The music gave me chills, and the graphics and detail of the environments, especially the roller coaster, looks really nice.The fact that the day and night cycle can be seen inside the Grand Central Station is also really cool.
Cut to the Russian guy. WTF ? Not too happy with the character ( or the way he looks for that matter ).
Now let's see some gameplay. Hopefully now that the floodgates have opened they won't be so tight lipped.
now if there was ever a time for some hot coffee this engine would be it.
Cause man, it will be such an empowering, evocative moment once your poor Russian immigrant makes his first foray across the Brookfart Bridge.

haha yea so true...most games have very lame, stereotypical characters and storylines. I just kind of look the other way so I can at least enjoy the gameplay.

Its Liberty City again, so its technically not NYC, even though its pretty much the same.
Just in case I need proof:
_IBER_Y over the harbor, and the boat says PLATYPUS Liberty City.
Looks good, the fact that the character is Eastern European is also pretty cool.
I'm psyched up for this franchise all over again.
