Here is your PAX Prime 2013 concert and panel schedule! photo

Rejoice! The PAX Prime 2013 schedule has finally been announced. First up, the musical acts! There's a lot of new bands performing this year. Friday night concerts will see  Bit Brigade, MegaRan and the Protomen all performing. Saturday's concert features Hideo, The Doubleclicks, and MC Frontalot. And since PAX Prime is a four day show this year, the first ever Sunday night concert features Super Guitar Bros., Adam Warrock, Supercommuter, and a special performance by Supergiant.

As for panels go, the main Destructoid one will be held on Sunday at 2PM. "The HUGE Evolution of Games Blogging" is where we'll be revealing our new vision for the site's future. Be sure to wear your Destructoid shirt for the group photo after the panel. Keep your Sunday evening open as we might be holding a special live Podtoid episode somewhere in Seattle too.

On Monday, our team from our Dtoid.TV channel will be hosting their "We tricked people into liking us, and you can too!" panel at 3PM. Oh, and site founder Niero will be a guest on the "Turning Geek Passion Into Profit" panel on Saturday at 2:30PM.

So that's all from our end, here are the highlights of other panels you should check out:

Friday:

1PM: Pitching The Last of Us @ Pegasus Theatre

Join Creative Director Neil Druckmann and Game Director Bruce Straley as they tell you how they successfully pitched Naughty Dog and PlayStation to develop and publish The Last of Us.

2:30PM: Rise of the Indies @ Wolfman Theatre

Join in the conversation as several successful indie developers come together to debate indie gaming’s rise to prominence, what’s allowed the scene to get to the point they’ve currently reached, and what that means for the present and future of independent game development.

Saturday:

1:00PM: 10 Questions with Supergiant Games: Presented by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences @ Serpent Theatre

Fans of Bastion and the upcoming Transistor will have a chance to get personal with Supergiant Games Studio Director Amir Rao and Creative Director Greg Kasavin!

3:00PM: Firaxis Games Mega Panel @ Pegasus Theatre

It’s the latest and greatest Firaxis Games Mega Panel! Featuring members of the studio that brought you XCOM: Enemy Unknown and the Civilization series, take a look behind the curtain at Firaxis Games and see what makes the studio so special. This panel will include special announcements and never-before-seen surprises, so you won’t want to miss it!

4:30PM: Keiji Inafune: From 8-bit to Next-Gen, and Beyond @ Kraken Theatre

Celebrated as the “father of MegaMan,” but branded as an outspoken critic of the Japanese game industry, ex-Capcom honcho Keiji Inafune’s frank talk, controversial opinions, and – most of all – his games have made many fans (and maybe a few enemies) on both sides of the Pacific.

The Order: 1886 sure is, uh, cinematic

I finally played The Order: 1886, Ready at Dawn's upcoming PS4, monster-filled, alternate-London-history third-person shooter here at Paris Games Week. I still really want to like it. I like a lot of things about it. Well, ma...more
