Rockstar released a new full trailer, made entirely with in-game footage, to show off L.A. Noire. Cars! Guns! Proper police work! Even a nod to Scarface near the end.

The faces still look like an animated corpse, creepy, it doesnt help because the actors are exagerating there facial expressions to make it easier on the player to figure out if their lying.
Great use of "their" and "there"; your grammar school is peerless. But I totally agree, the uncanny aspect is not gone, but it is certainly impressive how far it has come. The characters are caricatures but they are believable caricatures.
