Here, have a free PC game courtesy of Good Old Games photo

Enjoy a good point-and-click adventure? Love freebies? Good Old Games has got your back for the day.

The oft-beloved digital distributor of PC classics hit the 100-game milestone with the release of Teenagent (I see what they did there), which can now be downloaded for free as a way of saying thanks for all the support.

While you're at it, Lure of the Temptress and Beneath a Steel Sky are still completely free, and come highly recommended.

Finally, GOG added another title to its collection, Septerra Core, which I'd rather not attempt to explain out of fear that I might do the game injustice. If you are into RPGs with a sci-fi setting, go look into it, though.

Can you feel the love?

"Beneath a Steel Sky is completely free...Can you feel the love?"

I can feel it! If you have interest in point and clicks at all, go get Beneath a Steel Sky.

Also bonus question for point and click junkie fans: What's your favorite point and click of all time?

Mine's Kings Quest VI

Do what Magnalon said. I don't consider myself big on point-and-click games at all, but Beneath a Steel Sky is too good to pass.

I already had BASS and LOTT downloaded and installed and Teen Agent is installing as I type this. Thanks Grim!

I remember playing Beneath a Steel Sky years a go. Great story, but like all point and click games, falls victim to "Steal everything, click everything, use your itmes and click everywhere with them."

I vaguely remember Teen Agent from a demo...

I actually bought BASS right before it became free... Lucky me? It was still worth it though!

@Magnalon mine is King's Quest VI also!
It was the first point and click played game I played on a crappy old hewlet packard. I was little and barely knew what to do, but I remember going farther and farther into the game, and getting sucked in it.
Such a good time, I really miss that feeling with games...

And I bought Septeras Core with Planescape:Torment, I played SC some, didn't get too far in, but I loved Torment to death.

The fact that you even mentioned Septerra Core blows my mind. I thought that game was just some randoms shit I bought, and I really loved the setting, but never got hooked into it due to the weird looking characters and awkward dialogue.

But now that it's been mentioned again, I'm busting that shit out.

I LOVE Teenagent. That game has so much character.

P.S. Septerra Core is a grind fest. Avoid if you don't like grind fests.

I downloaded Beneath a Steel Sky like a month ago, I seriously love it, despite how complicated it is to continue in it.

Downloaded TeenAgent, I think I'll like it aswell, or even more.

@vexed alex

I already love it way more than Steam

Septerra Core... I think I still have the disc for that game. Great game, but takes a long time and gets repetitive. That was the thing back then, though.

Septerra Core could probably be best described as the PC's answer to Chrono Trigger. While CT is definitely superior to SC in every way imaginable, though, SC still deserves to be played if you haven't given it a shot already.

My favorite point-n-click adventure is Indiana Jones and the fate of Atlantis. It was the first Graphical Adventure game I played and made me want to know more about Atlantis. Also, I love Indy, what's else can I ask in a game?

downloading BASS and TA. Tell you later how are they.

I still have the tarot cards that came with preordering Septerra Core back when I was in high school. Fuckers are framed on the wall. That's how hard I love that game.

Septerra Core actually really is cool. I picked that up from Target for $10 with Shogo way back when. I've still got both games, though getting Shogo to work took some registry messing. They're both still pretty good. I should just give myself tons of levels and all the items so I don't have to grind and just play all the way through it finally.
