We've known for a little while that an all new Pokemon game is in the works, but that could mean a million different things. It could be a puzzle game, a Wii spin-off with Nintendo 64 quality graphics, or any number of other "less important" games. As any Poke-fan will tell you, there are certain Pokemon announcements that mean something, and others that are more-or-less worth ignoring.
What's the difference? Well, if an all new Pokemon is involved, then you've got to pay attention. So pay attention, Pokefans, because that rather bland-looking silhouette of a fox/wolf-thing is the signal -- something truly new in the world of Pokemon is going to happen.
Sounds like we'll be getting a full look at who this Pokemon is on February 21, so keep your eyes peeled. I'm expecting we'll also find out exactly what game this Pokemon will be showing up in as well.

God, it's going to be hell to get every single pokemon in the new game

i'm calling it.
I´m fine with a 5th generation...
But it´s too fucking early for that, I know, ussually at this time, it´s normal, but with like 493 pokemon... It´s too much now, and not easy to handle all that quantity, and also, by this time they should rest Pokemon for a while.. why? the remakes, the Mystery Dungeon in WiiWare and the new Ranger... I mean, I love Ranger series, it´s a good point of how to make a true spinoff, but well, like 6 Pokemon games are coming and it´s too much, also using the 13th movie as a promotion is too fucking overused, I mean, all the movies, promote something, but well, seeing the franchise I love, turning like this...
Also, the problem is... If they´re going to pull off a 5th generation, they´re going to use of course legendaries, I just hope Nintendo doesn´t make a thing that beats off the shit of Arceus like when they make Deoxys for Mewtwo, because, if this happens... I swear I´ll abandon Pokemon due this insolence, honestly, Game Freak should know they´re have limits, or if not, at least they should pull another franchises out, it worked for Drill Dozer and Pulseman, it should work.
Collecting a lot of the pokemon is now feasible thanks to the Global Trade System. Behold the wonders of the Internet! It would take time, but you can get all the existing ones between the two fourth generation games as it is. And Heart Gold/Soul Silver seems to be balancing a lot of things. So I'm not terribly worried.
(btw 493 is a really stupid number, if the 5th gen doesn't even out the total number of pokemon to something nice like 600 I am going to do baaaaaad things)

But the more I look at it the more it looks like a fucking Digimon.
New pokemon =/= new awesome game. Munchlax debuted in Pokemon Dash.
Nothing can beat my Staraptor and Cyndaquil though.
Champion... Lucario is part Fighting-type. That confirms it, it's a Lucario evolution!!!
