In a game where the main goal is to pretty much blow stuff up on a tropical island I'm guessing that DLC that gives you more ways to blow stuff up would be quite welcome. As such, please welcome some brand new DLC for Just Cause 2 in the form of the game's 'Black Market' DLC.
This little bundle of island blowing up joy comes in two DLC packs over two months. The first pack is the aerial pack and includes an F-33 Dragon Fly Jet Fighter, a Multi-lock Missile Launcher and Parachute Dual Thrusters: twin parachute-mounted jets which transform Rico’s trademark parachute into one of the most nimble and powerful attack platforms. It lands (get it?!) on April 29.
The second pack blows (get it?!) into town on May 26 and is called the 'Boom Pack.' The pack will feature a Quad Rocket Launcher a Cluster Bomb Launcher and an Air Propulsion Gun: a highly experimental jet-powered blast weapon, powerful enough to send vehicles and soldiers skywards.
Both cost $1.99 for the PS3 and Steam, and 160 MS Points for Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

They aren't maps.
I love my Just Cause and play it every time I'm not busy with Splinter Cell...it's a great game...but this is an example of the worst case scenerio of DLC gone bad.
If ever something should hae ever been included with the game or given away for free later, it's a extra weapon or two.
They started off right with the Ice Cream truck, but that was more to just to the drug dealer technique of here's a free taste, now pay up for more, junkie.
I love the game but I'll be damned if ANY company will get even just 2 dollars off me for a couple more weapons or gadgets.
It won't be "just" 2 dollars when the day comes and every game is doing this. And if it sells well for even one game, then that day will come.
Also, @ allfart (lol): Two bucks sounds good to me. I don't get into the widespread and seemingly endless internet debates about the ethics of paid DLC, but I'm all for it in this case.
The DLC, that is. *ahem*
Agree 100%. This is retarded
I was thinking the exact same thing while reading this
I was thinking precisely the same thing. If so, then it will probably be awesome.
I agree wholeheartedly.
I'm not going to get on to every whining prick who thinks that they're not getting their money's worth. I'd be afraid too if I had to ask my mom for her credit card number to download MS points again.
Since I don't believe in throwing money at things just because they're "cheap," I'll wait and see if any better DLC comes out in the future.
Seeing as this game has more value/content (stuff to do, places to go, things to obliterate, vehicles:100+!) than about 99% of $60 games out there, no hard feelings from me. Seems to me my chances with $2-4 are worth taking on these devs. Maybe I've been duped, but from names of the items in the DLC packs, it sounds like these will add quite a variety of possibilities to the game (Dual Thruster Parachute?!?!?!). Yes, please.
I'm not sure about the second pack but for $2 I'm sold on the first.
Are the oceans in Just Cause 2 deep like original? I wasn't a fan of the first JC, but One if the coolest and original
things in JC1 was the mini-sub. I'd totally pay $2 to explore and causeayhrm from s new prespective.
Honestly, i thought the game was going to have janky controls like the first one so I never even considered pre-ordering. Now i regret it since it's one of the funnest games of 2010 and I couldve got the hovercraft DLC.
