Here are your superstars of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 photo

While everyone in the WWE is a "superstar," the true stars are those that grace the cover of THQ's wrestling titles every year. Today, THQ has revealed the cover bad-asses for this fall's upcoming WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010, and there's little in the way of surprise.

From left to right you've got: Edge, The Undertaker, John Cena, Randy Orton (who we spoke to last year), and Rey Mysterio of the junior variety. Again, these are the same folks that have appeared on the covers of previous games, but hey -- whatever sells copies, right?

Looks-the-same artwork aside, good thing the title is usually solid. I was a huge fan of last year's game, and I have high expectations for tweaks this year that will make the experience better than the last. Deliver, THQ, or we fight in the cage -- got it?

"Shit we've already used all of our best wrestlers on the covers of our games! What do we do now?"

"Add them all into one cover?"

"Genius!"

Also, it's about time The Undertaker considers retiring. It's just not working anymore... actually, it hasn't worked since the name was changed to WWE. Sorry

I have to question your judgement Nick, I'm a WWE fan and been a Smackdown fan since the start but last year's game was a shambles. It took me less than 2 days to trade it in.
Career mode was bleh, online was pathetic and I honestly struggle to remember anything of any note that was halfway decent or was much of an improvement over 08. Pretty graphics I suppose.
I'm really hoping for something different this year, a proper well written and engrossing story mode for a start. Improved online and punishment for the pussies who run would be nice.
Maybe I'm just jaded but I hope this years one is truly a step up or this could be the first year I won't buy a Smackdown game.

Lame cover, what we need is more folding chairs, powerbombing, suplexes, broken tables, blood all over the place, and bursting veins popping out of their necks!

Bleh, the Smackdown series is garbage. There hasn't been a good wrestling game since the AKI wrestling titles on the N64, not counting their Def Jam games which were awesome (Icon wasn't their's, blame EA for that P.O.S.), but more geared toward fighting.

@Endsteim @KaliKot I agree. Jericho is by far one of the best wrestlers in the WWE today. (or for the past 10 years). He needs to be on the cover...he hasn't been on since...Smackdown? Smackdown 2? Ridiculous.

LUKE AT MAH MASSSSUUUUSSSLES!

It feels very disturbing that I have seen many people with Batista's book as of late; the worse part is ... they were reading it :\... in public....

You had a good run, Undertaker. It's time to hang it up. Did he get botox in his forehead or something? What's up with the strange expression?

Well technically isn't the Undertaker a zombie? They should market it that way and watch the gamers buy this game in droves :b

I totally agree about Jericho. If I had done the cover, Jericho would be front and center, Jeff Hardy would replace Rey Mysterio (because of his many fueds with Edge) and HHH would replace Undertaker (because of his fueds with Orton). I suppose that would leave three heels on the cover though, which wouldn't sell to the marks. Oh well...

I see a lot of people calling for Undertaker to retire, and you know what you don't know much about wrestling if you think he's in a place where he needs to retire. Sure, he's "old", but he's still one of the best in the ring in the WWE today. In fact, he's only gotten better and better over the years. His wrestling style is much more varied now, and he's one of the few wrestlers left in the WWE who hasn't been struck with the dreaded "5 Moves of Doom" syndrome. He's one of the few wrestlers left in the WWE that don't completely bore the shit out of me when I watch one of his matches.

I gotta disagree with you Trevor. I'm as big an Undertaker fan as anybody but I can't deny that he has his five moves of doom. Maybe he isn't as blatant as HHH, Batista or Cena but watch any PPV match with 'taker and you will see these moves in this order: running big boot, flying clothesline, old school, chokeslam, tombstone piledriver.
