Here are some new Army of Two: The 40th Day screenshots photo

Army of Two: the 40th Day isn’t exactly the Army of Two you remember. The fist-bumping, butt-slapping behavior of the two protagonists -- Salem and Rios -- has been greatly reduced to match the game’s new, more serious tone. If you were down with the original title, don’t stress over the deconstruction too much; Weapons will still glitter and Aggro appears to be just as important.

Earlier today, Electronic Arts Montreal dropped four new screenshots of the game. There’s nothing to glean from the images that we didn’t already know, but it’s nice to look at all the pretty colors. Look at that blue, man.

We’ll definitely learn more about 40th Day during E3, so stay tuned if you’re interested in how the bro-heavy title is shaping up.

I loved Army of Two, one of the best co-op games around, looking forward to this.

I might pick this up provided one of my friends does as well. The first was okay, but damn near impossible to play the co-op on the same screen.

Who cares about screenshots if they're not going to have the ridiculous frat boy antics of the first game? Just because the "critics" are too embarrassed to admit they found it entertaining is no reason to change things. The first game sold great and was a blast co-op, in large part due to the characters being retarded.

What? Blue? The color blue doesn't exist any more. You must be mistaken.

So is this game going have more of a serious tone instead of corny jokes and snide comments about war?
