Arkham Asylum 2 is coming, but considering we know that it won't be taking place in Arkham Asylum itself that name would be pretty darn stupid. It would be like naming a game Alcatraz and then having it take place in San Francisco. Unneeded metaphor is unneeded, but we may now have some hints at what the game's name will be and what will be going on it. WB has registered a series of domains clearly related to the upcoming game.
You can read them all below and while most of them seem to be attempts to not give away the real name of the game others like "closearkhamcity.com" and "waringotham.com" really hint at the direction the game will be taken plot wise. What are you thinking they all mean, and which of these do you think may be the actual name of the game?

Also, the "Where is Bruce Wayne" one really really has my interest piqued.
But something about these titles, and the element of a viral campaign (Where is Bruce Wayne and Stop Mayor Sharp stand out to me a lot) has me drawn in now, more so than I anticipated the first game.

Agreed, Ashes of Gotham sounds cool (and plausible).
Also, I highly doubt it's going to have "Arkham Asylum" in the title. Come on, people. Watch it ends up just being called Arkham Asylum II: Gotham City. Ha ha!
Isn't the website now Arkhamhasmoved.com?
Unfortunately I'm on a mobile platform so I can't check out the site.
And the "Where is Bruce Wayne" is really interesting.
SO EXCITE!
Pulled all this from the Wiki on the No Man's Land story arc:
Gotham City had suffered the results of a magnitude 7.6 earthquake in the earlier Cataclysm storyline. In response, the U.S government declared Gotham a "no man's land," destroyed all bridges leading to Gotham and forbade people from entering or exiting.
The city was swiftly carved up by gangs and various supervillains Batman had battled over the years. Jim Gordon and several members of the Gotham police department stayed behind to protect civilians. Bruce Wayne (Batman) left the city to lobby the government to not cut Gotham off, but failed. Gordon and his men waited for his return, but by the time he returned more than three months later, they believed he had abandoned Gotham.
Also Territory Tagging sounds like a very possible substitute for Riddler Challenges (unless they just do the same thing again):
Batman and James Gordon's officers work separately to reclaim Gotham, piece by piece, by beating and subduing the gang leaders and then marking the reclaimed territory with graffiti.
It did get a little redundant after a while, but not enough to keep me from playing through it twice.
