Here are some completely fake images of a new Zelda
Zelda Informer was sent these screens which are purportedly from an upcoming Zelda title making its way to the Wii. They're totally fake, as evidenced by the creator later popping up in the Zelda Universe forums and claiming credit for them. Even without that, I had a hard time believing that these photos, unsourced and so forth, had any validity whatsoever. Still, the prospect of the Roc's cape (which I contend looks more an alligator clip on a set of jumper cables than clothing in these screenshots -- now there's a useful tool) in a 3D Zelda could be pretty interesting. It would be even better in a 2D Zelda game. But, then, what isn't? The images were made with what appears to be an Oblivion mod and then further shopped to look like they appeared on the ancient tube television. More of these (totally not real) photos and the original images which they were made with are in the gallery below. Zelda Wii Screenshots Leaked [ZeldaInformer] Did you know? Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)The Broken Triforce is the worst attempt at a fake Zelda name I've ever heard. That's what would have tipped me off that it's fake. The titles are never so obvious that they beat you over the head with their meaning before you've played any of it. Good job using the fairy queen from Wind Waker in place of the lady standing behind Link in the concept image, dingus. Haha. This is a terribly lazy fake. "The Broken Triforce"? SO CREATIVE. Thank god these were fake, I'd be pissed if this is what Nintendo was working on for all these years. Fake images look like a shitty game. Hey there's an error in the main post. The creator showed up at the Zelda UNIVERSE forums, not the ZeldaInformer forums. :3 On top of the tons of other giveaways, seriously, anyone who couldn't see that those guards on the title screen were from Oblivion in under a second should get their licenses confiscated. 7:30 PM on 04.20.2010 Mega Man 8 fan-made demake free for the playingEvery once and a while, people take a crack at Mega Man 9 and Mega Man 10 by saying they look like "fan-made projects". Thing is, that's not the most effective insult. Technically speaking, Cave Story is a "fan-made project",...
9:00 PM on 02.16.2010 Fan-created Mega Man FPS gets an even better trailerMega Man games seem to go over better when they stick to their 8-bit roots, but there's no reason why they can't be 8-bit-ish while operating on all three axes.
