Our SMT list contest concludes

[Update: Codes have been sent! Congratulations to the winners!]

It warmed my RPG-loving heart to see your lists of favorite Shin Megami Tensei games for our game giveaway for today's release Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers. One thing's clear: Destructoid's readers know their sh*t! So happy to have so many fellow series fans here. So many of you just wanted to talk about your favorites -- again, so great to see. Hee ho!

Before we get to the awards, huge high fives to those of you that listed Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon as one of your top five. That game was crazy cool.

And thanks to Atlus for letting us share your super cool/super old game with some of our readers. I know that some of you expected me to review it today. For those asking, I'll say that I think Chris nailed it on the head. The game has aged pretty well, but it's still old. Its mechanics, while not fancy by today's standards, still hold up, and are quite deep. Worth a spin for sure.

Hit the jump to see the winners.

We only have a few codes to share. I wish I could have handed out more. It was great to see so many varied titles on your lists. I loved that so many listed Persona 4 Arena. The Digital Devil Saga also got plenty of much-deserved love. Damn, you guys are so cool.

Here are our winners:

Congrats! We'll get these codes out to you tonight.

Thanks again to everyone that entered.
