Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure came out, uh, roughly two billion years ago for the Nintendo DS. But as you'll soon see, Electronic Arts doesn't care about timing. Today, the publisher dropped a ridiculously funny trailer for the wicked old action-adventure-puzzle title.
If you don’t own Henry Hatsworth and have a DS, check your pulse. We loved it -- so much, in fact, that we slapped the Editor’s Choice badge on the game. Part of the cold reasoning behind that honor was the game's genuine wit -- something that you can witness for yourself below the fold.
Run to your local videogame retailer and buy this game right now. Seriously. I’m blogging this from your closet. You don’t want to make me angry.
That's some fucked up shit. The game is great though. Just beat the first boss today, nearly killed me...or rather, it nearly killed my DS as I was pretty close to launching the goddam thing while playing this game.
I can't buy it because I live in Australia and EA doesn't care about us. Although I'm sure if Activision were goignt o release a competing product and gain 100% market share in this territory, EA would suddenly give a shit.
And the difficulty cliffs in this game ensure that most people probably won't buy it, I don't mind hard games, hell I beat NGII on Master Ninja but Hatsworth is pretty much impossible at times.
I beat it last night actually. Really loved it. Excellent title.
Also, I was screaming at the last boss at 5 AM during my attempts. Holy crap was he hard! One of those bosses where you can't win unless you die on it like 10 times first. Completely impossible to beat on the first try since it's ALL pattern.
Anyone else collect the bronze, silver, and gold pantaloons in the baldur's gate series? If you got the pantaloons from each of the games and expansion packs you could assemble them in the last game and got what was basically a mech to reek havoc with while everyone else had swords and bows. I effing love that series.
Just spent 2 hours last night trying to beat that fucking nurse bitch. When I was finally able to get my robot suit action on in the water, she went down like a hooker on new year's eve. Great fucking game.
brilliant trailer, i got my DS stolen with that game and FFVI for the GBA inside a couple weeks ago, one of the most hurting losses of my recent life, but soon a new DS will arrive (hopefully).
Gentleman's mode actually isn't that bad. The game already has you trained like an uncommonly intelligent monkey for each level, so the patterns won't catch you off guard the second time around. That Nurse boss still sucks hard though.

That comment highlights so much of what is wrong with the games industry, and games journalism.

@davo - your sarcasm meter is broken.
