Our Destructoid store is slowly expanding with more and more gaming shirts. The next gaming inspired design to arrive at our store will be a Katamari Damacy themed one created by the wonderfully talented Linz Collins. The full design is in the gallery below and contains pretty much every gaming console or accessory past and present.

Now here's where you come in. We want to get the design colored before it goes to print and we need you to help us figure out what the colors should be. We're not looking for every little image to be a different color as that would be crazy expensive. Basically, keep it simple! Use no more than four or five colors that would look good on the design and on the shirt itself. Once you've made something, leave your design in the comments below.

Once we get a good number of submissions, we'll ask the Dtoid community to vote on their overall preferred design. Whatever ends up as the popular choice will be given a shirt and some goodies from our endless box of swag. Really looking forward to what you all come up with!

You could color-code the pieces of hardware by company. Nintendo stuff could be white, Sega blue, Sony grey, etc.. though by the time you color Mr. Destructoid and the shirt itself, that's probably pushing the limit.

Also, the stylus pen for the Wii U tablet looks odd just floating there (yes, even on a Katamari) and even looks kinda curved, even when you take the picture and make it bigger.

From a design standpoint it might be better off to omit the stylus all together, if only because it looks thin and will end up getting lost in all the colors going on in the shirt (even if theres just a few) any way.

People will be able to tell its the Wii U tablet without the stick pointing at it.

Also (round 2), I'd venture to say that a poster made of this would probably be pretty cool too (but that's a much lesser opinion then the one I placed about the stylus.)

Yours for sure, Mr. Jonson. One bit of feedback though, would you consider using a different colour for the gaps between the consoles etc? Having it the same as the background makes the katamari look like a flat circle instead of a rolled up ball, imho.

We'll need to find out if using halftones is possible. I assume Mr. Jonson has some experience regarding printshops? Seems like an insider method of cheating your way to 10 colors. (Cheating in the best use of the word.)
Critweak- I'd like to see that little light on the Dreamcast colored.

I'm thinking that eschewing realism may be the best bet, as many of the consoles are unfortunately drab and don't really contain the colorful rainbow quirkiness that Katamari fans adore.

If the final design doesn't light my face up with SUPER HAPPY, it's probably not Katamari enough. :P
