Awhile back, we asked you guys to take time out of your busy schedules to create a Mushroom Men diorama. Why? To win some extremely cool prizes, including a custom Mushroom Men bass guitar signed by the legendary Les Claypool.

A ton of amazing entries flooded our inbox, and it was tough deciding on who to choose. But somehow we were able to narrow it down to four finalists, as decided by the Destructoid staff and the folks at Red Fly Studio, the developer of Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars (Wii) and Mushroom Men: Rise of the Fungi (Nintendo DS). Congratulations to Dexter345, Nintendoll, Onlypony, and Trish for making the final cut!

Now, it's time for the Destructoid community to help us decide by voting for their favorites; to help make your decision, images of the dioramas have been included in the gallery. We'll be accepting votes until October 26 at 11:59 PM EDT, at which point we'll count up the totals and announce the top three the very next day.

OnlyPony's is awesome, the reason mine looks like it didn't take as much time is because the blacklight paint didn't take well to the various materials I applied it to. I ended up running out of time for the other stuff I wanted to do with it. I just knew I definitely wanted to do it under a blacklight, because all of the screenshots of the game were dark with glowy things :)

Onlypony's looks amazing. Just seems like an amazing amount of detail was put into it, in terms of what's going on in the diorama. But that's just my thoughts.

I tried but since it was under a blacklight, I had to keep the camera perfectly still on a slower shutter speed. All of the other photos I took came out super blurry ;_;

I've been watching the results ANXIOUSLY and it seems like although voting was closed 16 hours ago, the numbers are still being updated???? It's a close contest, that's for sure!

Did I win this????? This morning the spread was Trish 46, Onlypony 29 but now it's Trish 40, Onlypony 38...Are votes still being accepted even though the polls are closed?
Maybe absentee ballots are being tallied? Hanging chads? Voter registration fraud?
